UNIOSUN Opens Inter-University Transfer Application for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Osun State University (UNIOSUN) is pleased to announce the commencement of the sales of the Inter-University Transfer Form for the 2024/2025 Academic Session. This opportunity is for prospective applicants looking to transfer their studentship to UNIOSUN.

How to Apply

Candidates interested in transferring to UNIOSUN should visit the official website at https://www.uniosun.edu.ng or https://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng to complete and submit their applications. It is crucial to provide accurate information, as all submissions will undergo verification. Additionally, applicants must forward their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University.

Application Process

  1. Online Registration: Candidates should register online through the UNIOSUN website and complete the application form.
  2. Print Application: After submitting the form, candidates are required to print two copies of the application.

Eligibility Criteria

For the 2024/2025 academic session, please note the following eligibility requirements:

  • Program Restrictions: UNIOSUN will not accept transfer candidates into the following programs:
    • Law (LLB)
    • Common and Islamic Law (LLB)
    • Nursing (B.N.Sc.)
    • M.B.B.S.
  • Current Enrollment: Applicants must currently be students at their previous university. Those whose studentship has lapsed will not be considered for transfer.
  • Course Compatibility: Transfer candidates must continue in the same course or another course, provided they meet the necessary requirements.
  • Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA): A minimum CGPA of 2.5/5.00 is required from the applicant’s current university.
  • Admission Requirements: Candidates must meet the minimum O’ Level requirements and UTME score cut-off for their desired course at UNIOSUN.

Important Notes

  • Candidates expelled or withdrawn from other universities due to academic or disciplinary issues will not be eligible for transfer.
  • Academic transcripts must be processed directly from the Academic Affairs Unit; personal copies will not be accepted.
  • A sworn Court Affidavit regarding criminal and disciplinary status must be submitted.
  • Any irregularities found in submitted documents will be addressed by the Students Disciplinary Panel, with appropriate consequences.

Transfer Levels

Transferees can be admitted to:

  • 200 Level for all 4-year courses.
  • 300 Level for courses longer than 4 years, subject to space availability.
