FUOTUOKE Announces Post-UTME/DE Screening for 2025/2026 Session: Cut-Off Marks, Eligibility, and How to Apply

The Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) has released details for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise. If you’re planning to join this respected institution in Bayelsa State, here’s everything you need to know about the cut-off marks, eligibility, and how to register.

Cut-Off Marks

To qualify for FUOTUOKE’s Post-UTME screening, candidates must meet specific cut-off marks based on their programme of choice:

  • Degree Programmes (B.Sc/B.Eng): You need a minimum score of 160 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • Faculty of Law: Candidates applying for Law must score at least 220 in the 2025 UTME.

These cut-off marks apply to all candidates who chose FUOTUOKE as their first choice during JAMB registration.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the FUOTUOKE Post-UTME/DE screening, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You chose FUOTUOKE as your first choice institution during the 2025 JAMB UTME or Direct Entry registration.
  • For UTME candidates, you must have scored 160 or above (220 for Law) in the 2025 UTME.
  • You must have at least five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings. These credits must come from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
  • For Direct Entry candidates, you must have registered through JAMB and possess the required A’Level qualifications, ND, NCE, or other relevant certifications for your chosen programme.
  • Candidates who did not initially choose FUOTUOKE but scored 160 or above (220 for Law) can apply, provided they process a change of institution to FUOTUOKE as their first choice on the JAMB portal before the application deadline.

Registration Process

The FUOTUOKE Post-UTME/DE screening form is available online, and registration is straightforward. Follow these steps to apply:

  1. Visit the FUOTUOKE Post-UTME portal at https://ecampus.fuotuoke.edu.ng/.
  2. Click on the “Applications” menu, then select “2025/2026 POST-UTME Screening”.
  3. Provide your JAMB Registration Number to start the application process.
  4. Fill in your personal details, including your full name (as it appears on your JAMB slip), phone number, email address, and other required information.
  5. Pay the non-refundable application fee of N2,000 (excluding bank charges). Payment can be made online using a debit card (Verve, Visa, or MasterCard) or at any commercial bank in Nigeria via Remita.
  6. Upload a recent passport photograph (not more than three months old, in JPEG format, with a maximum size of 200KB).
  7. Provide details of your O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB). You can submit results from one or two sittings.
  8. Direct Entry candidates must also upload scanned copies of their A’Level results, ND, NCE, or other qualifications in PDF format (maximum size of 500KB).
  9. Review your application, submit it, and print the acknowledgment slip for reference.

  • Registration Period: The application portal is open from July 8, 2025, to August 31, 2025.
  • Screening Date: The exact date for the Post-UTME screening will be communicated to candidates via their registered email and phone number. Check your details regularly for updates.

  • Accuracy is Key: Ensure all information provided during registration matches your JAMB and O’Level records to avoid disqualification.
  • No Physical Screening: The FUOTUOKE Post-UTME screening for 2025/2026 will be conducted online. You do not need to visit the university for the screening.

Steps on How to Check FUOTUOKE Admission List 2024/2025

At this time, you can only check your admission status through the JAMB admission status portal.

Follow these steps to verify your FUOTUOKE admission status:

  • Visit the JAMB portal.
  • Log in using your JAMB profile username and password.
  • Scroll down and click the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.
  • Select your exam year and enter your registration number.
  • Click ‘Check Admission Status’ to view your FUOTUOKE admission details.
  • You can also click ‘Access my CAPS’ for a detailed view of your admission status and related services.

What to Do After Confirming Your FUOTUOKE Admission

If you find your name on the admission list, follow these steps:

  • Log in to JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) to accept or reject the offer.
  • Once you accept, print your JAMB admission letter.
