This is to inform the general public that the Federal University, Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) has announced 12th October 2024 as the date for its Convocation Ceremony, cerebrating graduates from 2017 to 2022.
This significant event will bring together graduands, their families, and the entire university community for a memorable celebration.
The FUBK Convocation Ceremonies will take place from Wednesday, 9th October to Saturday, 12th October 2024.
FUBK Convocation Program of Events
The FUBK Convocation Ceremonies will feature a range of activities, including press briefings, debates, sports events, and formal gatherings.
Graduates, staff, and special guests will be recognized during these events, making it a notable occasion for the university.

- Graduands are required to pay a fee of ₦3,000 for the Academic Gown.
- Those interested in obtaining the Order of Proceedings will need to pay an additional ₦10,000.
- Academic Gowns can be collected from the Faculty Officers after obtaining clearance from the Academic Office.
- Collection of gowns will begin on Monday, 7th October 2024, and will close on Friday, 11th October 2024.
- Graduands are expected to dress in full, appropriate attire and must be seated at the Convocation Arena by 9:00 am on the day of the event.
- Entry to the arena will not be allowed after 9:00 am.
- All Academic Gowns must be returned to the collection points between Monday, 14th October and Tuesday, 22nd October 2024.
- Graduands are also required to obtain a Clearance Form from their Faculty Officers, which must be signed and stamped for certificate collection.
How to Pay for FUBK Convocation Ceremonies
To pay for the Academic Gown and Order of Proceedings, follow these steps:
- Visit the FUBK Payment Portal.
- Click on “Pay for graduation gown and/or order of proceedings”.
- Enter your admission number and click “find records”.
- If your name is on the graduation list, your details will be displayed.
- Confirm your details before proceeding to payment.
- Select the optional Order of Proceedings if required.
- Generate your Remita Invoice and complete the payment using any of the available channels.
- Print the payment receipt as proof.
If you cannot find your records but have graduated, contact the Directorate of Exams & Registration or send an email to mis@fubk.edu.ng for assistance.
Security and Guidelines
- All vehicles entering the university premises will undergo security checks.
- Designated parking areas will be provided, and vehicles will be directed by university security personnel.
- No hawking or sales of items will be allowed near the Convocation Arena.
- Media personnel must obtain accreditation from the Information and Public Relations Department of the university.
