AKSU Merit Admission List 2025/2026 is out – See names

Akwa Ibom State University has released the admission list for 2025/2026. Candidates are to check their status through JAMB CAPS, accept or reject, and print their admission letter if successful. Kindly read further for the simple steps to follow.

The wait is finally over. For months, candidates have been refreshing pages, whispering prayers, and peeking into portals. Now, Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has dropped the admission list for the 2025/2026 session. Some hearts will leap, others may still have to wait, but the news is here.

How To Check Your Status

Right now, the admission list is not pasted on any wall in Uyo, nor is it hidden in some corner of the school site. It is strictly through the JAMB CAPS portal. The process is simple, but it requires calm attention.

  • Visit the JAMB E-Facility portal.
  • Log in using your JAMB username and password.
  • Scroll down and click on Check Admission Status.
  • Select Access my CAPS.
  • Click Admission Status to see if you have been offered admission into AKSU.

And that is it. No long stress.

What To Do Next

For those who find their names there, the next move is to either accept or reject the offer. This is done by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as a message to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number tied to your JAMB profile.

  • If you accept, go ahead and print your JAMB admission letter.
  • If you reject, you step aside for other choices or future rounds.

And if you see “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted”, don’t panic. Keep checking. Sometimes the status shifts when you least expect it.
