  • Students who need to improve their O’Level results to qualify for their preferred degree programmes are also eligible.

  1. Visit the AKSU portal at https://portal.aksu.edu.ng.
  2. Click on the “REGISTER NOW” link on the login page.
  3. Select “Basic Studies 2025/2026 Registration” and complete the Pre-Payment Analysis Slip.
  4. Pay a non-refundable application fee of N5,000 (excluding bank charges) using your debit card or by generating a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for payment at a bank.
  5. After payment, return to the portal to complete your registration by filling out the application form.
  6. Upload scanned copies of your credentials, including:
    • 2025 UTME result slip (if applicable)
    • O’Level result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
    • Birth certificate or age declaration
    • Certificate of origin
  7. Print out the completed application form for your records.

AKSU Post-UTME/DE 2025: Cut-off Mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) has announced the details for its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. All interested candidates should carefully review the requirements and guidelines below.

Cut-off Mark

The minimum UTME score required for candidates to be eligible for the screening is 140.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who can apply include:

  • UTME candidates who chose AKSU as their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored 140 or above.
  • Direct Entry (DE) candidates who chose AKSU as their first choice institution.

Important: Candidates who did not choose AKSU as their first choice but wish to apply must change their institution to AKSU on the JAMB Portal before registering.

Registration Details

  • Start Date: Monday, 22nd July 2025
  • End Date: Friday, 23rd August 2025
