The Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta (FUMMSA) has finally made public the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic year. For those who took part in the screening exercise, this is the moment that decides if the door opens or stays shut. The provisional list of successful candidates has been uploaded online, and all eyes now turn to the JAMB CAPS portal.
How To Check FUMMSA Admission List
At this stage, the admission list is available only through the JAMB CAPS portal. To see if your name is there, follow these steps carefully:
- Go to the JAMB EFacility portal
- Log in using your JAMB username and password
- Scroll down, click Check Admission Status
- Tap Access my CAPS
- Finally, click Admission Status to confirm if FUMMSA has offered you a place
For phone users, there may be a hitch. Some only see the welcome message and no option for Admission Status. The fix is simple, just switch your Chrome browser to desktop mode. That way, the full page appears.
What To Do After Admission Offer
Once admitted, candidates must:
- Accept or reject the offer by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the registered phone number on their JAMB profile.
- Print out the official JAMB admission letter.
Those whose status still reads “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted” should not lose hope. Keep checking the portal as updates come in batches.
