Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Post-UTME screening, you must meet the following requirements:

  • You must have chosen Federal Polytechnic, Nekede as your first or second choice institution during the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • You must have scored a minimum of 100 in the 2025 UTME conducted by JAMB.
  • You need at least five O’level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings. These results can be from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
  • If you selected Federal Polytechnic Nekede as your second or third choice in JAMB, you must change it to your first choice on the JAMB website and upload your O’level results at a JAMB-accredited CBT centre to be considered for admission.
  • Candidates with awaiting O’level results are not eligible to apply.
  • Combining NABTEB with WAEC or NECO is not allowed. However, you can combine NABTEB with NABTEB or WAEC with NECO.
  • Note that Animal Husbandry is not considered a science subject, and a D7 in Mathematics is not acceptable for admission into any department.

Application Fee

The cost of the Post-UTME screening form is N2,000 (Two Thousand Naira only). This fee is non-refundable and must be paid through the Remita platform at any commercial bank nationwide or via online payment options like card payment.

How to Apply

Follow these simple steps to complete your application:

  1. Visit the Polytechnic’s Website: Go to www.fpno.edu.ng and click on the “Application Form” link under the Student’s Menu on the homepage. Select ND Morning as your programme.
  2. Generate an Invoice: Fill in your personal details to generate a payment invoice. Save or print the invoice, which will include a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
  3. Make Payment: Take the RRR number to any commercial bank to pay the N2,000 screening fee. Alternatively, you can pay online using a Verve, Visa, or MasterCard by selecting the card payment option and entering your card details.
  4. Complete the Application: Return to www.fpno.edu.ng, click on “Application Form,” and fill in the required details, including your O’level results and JAMB subject combination for your chosen course.
  5. Submit and Print: After completing the form, submit it online and print your acknowledgment slip as proof of submission. If you paid with a card, you can also print your payment receipt directly from the portal.

  • Ensure there are no discrepancies in your O’level result grades, JAMB score, or JAMB registration number, as this will disqualify you.
