Read on to get all the details you need to secure your spot at this top Nigerian university known for excellence in science, engineering, and technology.

Who Can Apply for LAUTECH Post-UTME/DE 2025?

To be eligible for the LAUTECH Post-UTME or Direct Entry screening, you must meet these requirements:

  • UTME Candidates:
    • You must have scored at least 170 in the 2025 JAMB UTME.
    • You must have chosen LAUTECH as your first choice institution in JAMB.
    • You need at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

  • Direct Entry Candidates:
    • You must have qualifications like National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), or A-Level results relevant to your chosen course.
    • You must have chosen LAUTECH as your first choice in JAMB.
    • You also need at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

How Does the Screening Work?

LAUTECH uses an online screening process for UTME candidates. This means you won’t write a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Instead, the university will evaluate you based on your JAMB UTME score and O’Level results. For Direct Entry candidates, there will be an oral and written interview on Tuesday, September 10, 2025, and Wednesday, September 11, 2025.

How to Register for LAUTECH Post-UTME/DE 2025

Follow these steps to apply for the screening:

  4. Upload Your O’Level Results: Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB CAPS portal. This is very important for your admission to be processed.
  5. Submit Your Application: After filling the form, submit it and print the acknowledgement page. You will need to present this page at the screening venue for identification.
  6. Direct Entry Candidates: Forward your academic transcripts to the Registrar, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.

Important Dates to Remember

  • Registration Starts: Friday, July 25, 2025
  • Registration Closes: Wednesday, August 20, 2025

Key Things to Note

  • Accuracy is Crucial: Make sure your names on your O’Level results, UTME results, and other documents are the same. Any mismatch could lead to disqualification.
  • Upload Results on Time: You must upload your O’Level results on JAMB CAPS within two weeks of their release. Late uploads may not be accepted.

Tips for a Successful Application

  • Apply early to avoid last-minute issues.
  • Double-check all your documents before uploading.
  • Ensure your passport photograph meets the requirements to avoid rejection.
  • For any questions, contact LAUTECH at registrar@lautech.edu.ng or admissions@lautech.edu.ng.
