Venite University, Iloro-Ekiti, has officially announced a call for applications for the position of Vice-Chancellor, which will soon become vacant. The Role of the Vice-Chancellor
The Vice-Chancellor serves as the Chief Executive and Academic Officer of the university, reporting directly to the Governing Council. Responsibilities include managing daily operations, upholding discipline, and advancing the university’s academic and administrative objectives.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Applicants must:

Hold a PhD from a recognised university.

Have at least 15 years of post-doctoral experience, including 5 years as a Professor.

Demonstrate proven academic leadership, research excellence, and administrative competence.

Exhibit strong ICT skills and entrepreneurial ability.

Possess experience in planning, resource mobilisation, and institutional governance.

Be of sound health and not older than 65 years at the date of appointment.

Maintain integrity, accountability, and discipline in professional dealings.
Terms and Tenure
The appointment is for a single term of five (5) years. Remuneration and benefits are competitive with those offered in reputable private universities across Nigeria.
