The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has released mandatory instructions for candidates provisionally recommended for admission into various academic programmes for the 2025/2026 session. These steps are compulsory for candidates to confirm and secure their admission status successfully.
Applicants can view the full admission list on the official UNN website.
Instructions for Candidates Recommended for Provisional Admission
All candidates offered provisional admission into UNN for the 2025/2026 academic session are required to complete the following actions promptly:
1. Upload of O’Level Results
Candidates must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal through an approved CBT centre. Admission will not be processed without a valid O’Level upload confirmed in JAMB CAPS.
2. Change of Course (Where Applicable)
Candidates offered admission into a course different from their initial JAMB application must visit an accredited CBT centre to perform a Change of Course to the one recommended. After completing this, they should print and submit their admission status slip to the Admissions Office.
3. Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
After completing the previous steps, candidates should log in to their JAMB profile and click “Accept Admission.” Failure to do so means the candidate will not receive a JAMB Admission Letter and will be regarded as not admitted.
4. Generate Payment Invoice and Pay Acceptance Fee
Candidates should visit the UNN portal using their JAMB Registration Number to generate a payment invoice containing a Remita number. The acceptance fee is ₦30,000 and can be paid at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.
5. Confirm Payment and Print Admission Slip
After payment, log back into the UNN portal with your JAMB Registration Number, Invoice Number, and Confirmation Number to print your Admission Slip and complete the online Acceptance Form.
6. Proceed with Registration
After acceptance, candidates should follow the instructions provided on the university website to pay other required fees and complete registration.
Important Notice for UNN Candidates
Admission remains provisional until all documents and requirements are verified. If, at any point during or after the course of study, it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the minimum university or departmental entry requirements, the admission will be withdrawn as directed by the Senate of the University.
The management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) congratulates all newly admitted students and encourages them to finalise their registration promptly to begin the academic year without delay.
