UNN 2nd Batch Supplementary Admission List 2025/2026 Released

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the Supplementary Admission List II for the 2025/2026 academic session. EducationNGR also learnt that the newly published list contains the names of candidates offered provisional admission across various programmes in the institution.

Important Instructions for All Admitted Candidates

Successful candidates whose names appear on the Supplementary Admission List II are required to carefully follow the steps outlined below:

1. Upload of O’Level Results

Candidates are strictly advised to urgently upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal through any JAMB-approved CBT centre. Admission processing will not continue for any candidate whose O’Level results are not properly uploaded and confirmed on CAPS.

2. Change of Course on CAPS (Where Applicable)

Candidates offered admission into programmes different from those originally applied for must visit an accredited CBT centre and process a Change of Course on JAMB CAPS. Afterwards, they must print out and submit their updated CAPS admission status to the UNN Admissions Office for final processing.

3. Acceptance of Admission

After completing the steps above, candidates should:

  • Visit the JAMB portal and click “Accept Admission” on CAPS. Those who fail to do this will not receive a JAMB Admission Letter and will be considered not admitted.

4. Payment of Acceptance Fee

  • Log in to the UNN portal (unn.edu.ng or unnportal.edu.ng) using your JAMB Registration number to generate a payment invoice containing a Remitta number.

  • Proceed to any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank, to pay the acceptance fee of ₦30,000.00.

  • Ensure correct input of the invoice number and obtain a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation and Invoice numbers.

5. Printing of Admission Slip & Online Registration

  • Return to the UNN portal and log in using your JAMB Registration number, Confirmation Number, and Invoice Number.

  • Print your Admission Slip and complete the online Acceptance Form.

  • Continue with all other registration and payment procedures as outlined on the UNN website.

Important Notice

Candidates should note that this offer of admission is provisional. If at any point—whether now or even in the final year—it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the university or departmental minimum admission requirements as approved by the Senate and published in the official JAMB Brochure, the admission will be withdrawn.

Instructions for Candidates Recommended for Provisional Admission

All candidates offered provisional admission into UNN for the 2025/2026 academic session are required to complete the following actions promptly:

1. Upload of O’Level Results
Candidates must upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal through an approved CBT centre. Admission will not be processed without a valid O’Level upload confirmed in JAMB CAPS.

2. Change of Course (Where Applicable)
Candidates offered admission into a course different from their initial JAMB application must visit an accredited CBT centre to perform a Change of Course to the one recommended. After completing this, they should print and submit their admission status slip to the Admissions Office.

3. Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
After completing the previous steps, candidates should log in to their JAMB profile and click “Accept Admission.” Failure to do so means the candidate will not receive a JAMB Admission Letter and will be regarded as not admitted.

4. Generate Payment Invoice and Pay Acceptance Fee
Candidates should visit the UNN portal using their JAMB Registration Number to generate a payment invoice containing a Remita number. The acceptance fee is ₦30,000 and can be paid at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.

5. Confirm Payment and Print Admission Slip
After payment, log back into the UNN portal with your JAMB Registration Number, Invoice Number, and Confirmation Number to print your Admission Slip and complete the online Acceptance Form.

6. Proceed with Registration
After acceptance, candidates should follow the instructions provided on the university website to pay other required fees and complete registration.

Admission remains provisional until all documents and requirements are verified. If, at any point during or after the course of study, it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the minimum university or departmental entry requirements, the admission will be withdrawn as directed by the Senate of the University.

How to Check the UNN Admission List

Alternatively, applicants can log in to the UNN Student Portal at unnportal.unn.edu.ng using their JAMB registration number to confirm their admission details directly.

What to Do After Checking the UNN Admission List

Candidates who have been offered admission should complete the following steps to finalise their acceptance.

1. Upload O’Level Results to JAMB Portal

Visit a JAMB-approved CBT Centre to upload your O’Level results. Submit proof of upload and your admission status printout from JAMB CAPS to the Admissions Office at UNN. This process must be completed before proceeding with registration.

2. Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS

Application Process for UNN Shopping/Change of Course

Eligible candidates should follow the steps below to complete their application.

  1. Visit the UNN Portal.
  2. Log in with your JAMB Registration Number to generate and download a payment invoice containing a Remita number.
  3. Pay the ₦10,000 Advert/Shopping processing fee at any commercial bank. Ensure the Invoice Number is entered correctly at the bank.
  4. Obtain a confirmation slip containing your Confirmation Number and Invoice Number.
  5. Return to the portal to complete the Shopping/Change of Course form using your JAMB and invoice numbers.

Application opens on Monday, 20th October 2025 and closes on Friday, 24th October 2025.

Candidates must meet the university’s minimum and departmental entry requirements for their selected courses and must have taken the correct UTME subjects during the 2024/2025 JAMB and Post-UTME.

Candidates admitted through this process will not be permitted to register for any other course during the 2025/2026 academic year.

UNN has opened its 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening for UTME and Direct Entry applicants. If you picked UNN as your first choice and scored at least 160, you’re eligible to apply.

Latest Update:

The University of Nigeria wishes to inform all candidates who chose UNN as their first-choice institution and scored 160 or above in the UTME that the deadline for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening registration has been extended.

Originally set to close on Friday, August 15, 2025, the registration portal will now remain open until midnight of Sunday, September 7, 2025.

If you haven’t registered yet, this is your chance to do so before the new deadline. Candidates who have already registered but wish to update their O’Level results are also encouraged to make the necessary changes within this period.

Please ensure you follow the official guidelines for the 2025/2026 screening exercise to secure your eligibility for admission.

Application Begins for UNN Post-UTME Screening
