Update: UNN Post UTME/DE Admission 2025/2026 Deadline Extended

UNN has opened its 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening for UTME and Direct Entry applicants. If you picked UNN as your first choice and scored at least 160, you’re eligible to apply.

The University of Nigeria wishes to inform all candidates who chose UNN as their first-choice institution and scored 160 or above in the UTME that the deadline for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening registration has been extended.

Originally set to close on Friday, August 15, 2025, the registration portal will now remain open until midnight of Sunday, September 7, 2025.

If you haven’t registered yet, this is your chance to do so before the new deadline. Candidates who have already registered but wish to update their O’Level results are also encouraged to make the necessary changes within this period.

Please ensure you follow the official guidelines for the 2025/2026 screening exercise to secure your eligibility for admission.

Application Begins for UNN Post-UTME Screening

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) is now accepting applications for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening exercise. This applies to all candidates who picked UNN as their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored 160 or above.

Who Should Not Apply?

  • Candidates under 16 years of age by 30 September 2025
  • Those still waiting to write the Nov/Dec 2025 NECO or GCE exams
  • Applicants with name mismatches between their O’Level and JAMB records

How Much Is the Form?

The screening fee is ₦2,000. You can pay through Remita at any commercial bank or online using your ATM card.

Step-by-Step Application Process

  1. Visit the UNN official website
  2. Click on UNN Portal (top right)
  3. Choose Prospective Students
  4. Select Online Application Form for 2025/2026 Admission Screening
  5. Enter your JAMB Registration Number
  6. Generate your payment invoice
  7. Pay at a bank or with your ATM card
  8. Return to the portal and re-enter your JAMB number
  9. Fill in your date of birth, personal details, and verified O’Level results
  10. Provide your exam number and centre
  11. Upload the required documents (max file size: 100KB each)

  • Primary School Testimonial
  • First School Leaving Certificate
  • JAMB Result Slip
  • O’Level results (single or double sitting)
  • Direct Entry result (if applicable)

Make sure your info is correct. Once you hit submit, that’s it. No room for edits.

Print out your acknowledgment slip once done.

Direct Entry Applicants

Candidates applying through Direct Entry must also register. Your result must already be verified by NIPEDS, the JAMB result verification platform.

The online registration for the 2025 Post-UTME/DE screening starts on Monday, July 14, 2025, and ends at midnight on Friday, August 15, 2025. Make sure to complete your registration before the deadline, as late applications will not be accepted.
