Apply Now: UNICAL JUPEB Form for 2025/2026 is on Sale

The University of Calabar has opened applications for its JUPEB admission for the 2025/2026 session. Interested candidates with the right qualifications are invited to apply before the deadline of 30th September 2025. Screening for new applicants begins 6th October 2025.

The gates have swung open again at the University of Calabar, this time for the JUPEB programme. If you’ve been waiting for that extra chance to step into higher learning without going through the usual JAMB route, this is your cue. The university has announced that its JUPEB admission portal is now live for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The JUPEB programme, as you may know, gives students direct entry opportunities into 200 level in many Nigerian universities. It is tough work but, as they say, every big road begins with one small step.

Who Can Apply?

The requirements are simple enough:

  • A minimum of five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics
  • Results must be from WAECNECO, or NABTEB
  • Credits can be obtained in not more than two sittings

That is it. If you’ve got these in your bag already, then you are on the safe side.

How to Apply

Everything happens online, no paper chasing around campus. Interested candidates are to head to the UNICAL JUPEB application portal.

On the site, you will find:

  • Clear instructions on how to fill the form
  • Payment steps
  • Documents you’ll need to upload

Take your time to read through before hitting submit. Small slip-ups can cost you time and, trust me, you don’t want wahala later.

Dates to Keep in Mind

  • Closing date for admission: 30th September 2025
  • Screening exercise begins: 6th October 2025

Those who wait till the last minute always end up in a long queue. Better to sort it out now while the site is still calm.

Final Word

If UNICAL is where you hope to start building your future, then this JUPEB slot is worth grabbing with both hands. Get your credits lined up, fill the form correctly, and keep those dates in mind. And if you get stuck along the way, there’s a helpline: 08022282998.
