What You Need To Upload

While filling the form online, candidates should get these ready:

  • JAMB slip (2025 UTME or DE as the case may be)
  • O’ Level results
  • Proof of identity, such as indigene letter, NIN card, or international passport
  • A’ Level results for DE applicants

Payment and Process

The screening costs ₦2,000 only, charges included. Payment is made directly through the UMYU Post-UTME Portal.

  • UTME candidates must bring along their payment slips to the test hall, and also submit hard copies of their credentials on the day.
  • Direct Entry applicants, on the other hand, do not need to sit for the aptitude test. They only need to forward their hard copy documents to the Registrar’s office after registration.

One more thing, if JAMB has marked you as a special needs candidate, you are free from the aptitude test. Still, you are expected to submit hard copies of your papers to the Registrar’s office.

How Long It Will Take

You have two main paths, depending on your entry:

  • UTME entry: 12 to 18 contacts, which is about 5 years.
  • Direct Entry: 9 to 15 contacts, which is about 4 years.

Each contact runs roughly 15 weeks of lectures, 3 weeks of exams, and 2 weeks break. Sounds steady enough if you plan it well.

Apply: UMYU Post UTME/Direct Entry Admission Form 2024/2025

Be informed that the Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) has announced the sale of its Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening application form. The admission form is now available for the 2024/2025 academic session.

UMYU invites all candidates who have chosen the university as their first choice through the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) application to register for the screening process via the university’s website.

Eligibility for UMYU Post UTME/Direct Entry Admission 2024/2025

Candidates applying through UTME must have scored the minimum cut-off mark required for their chosen programme. The approved cut-off marks and admission requirements for each programme can be found on the UMYU cut-off mark page.

Only those who meet these requirements are eligible to register.

DE candidates will undergo online screening through their application submissions and do not need to appear physically.

Registration Dates

Online registration begins on Wednesday, 21st August 2024 and will close at midnight on 26th September 2024.

Required Documents for UMYU Post UTME/Direct Entry Admission

Eligible candidates must upload the following documents on the university’s Post UTME portal starting from Wednesday, 21st August 2024:

  • JAMB Result Slip for UTME candidates
  • JAMB Registration Slip for DE candidates
  • O’ Level Result(s)
  • A form of identification (such as an Indigene Letter, National Identification Card, International Passport, etc.)
  • DE candidates must also upload their ‘A’ Level Result (Diploma, IJMB, NCE, etc.)

Candidates who are awaiting results may also apply.

Payment Details

Eligible candidates are required to pay a fee of N2,000.00 for the screening, including all charges, using the payment options available on the university’s payment portal.

UTME candidates should bring the payment slip to the aptitude test and will need to submit hard copies of their credentials at the test venue. The test date will be indicated on the registration slip, and candidates should regularly check the university’s website for updates.

DE candidates are required to forward hard copies of their credentials to the Registrar’s office after completing the online registration.

Special Considerations

Candidates recognized by JAMB as physically challenged are exempted from the Post-UTME aptitude test. However, they must forward hard copies of their credentials to the Registrar’s office.
