UMYU Supplementary Post UTME/DE Form 2025/2026 Out

The UMYU Supplemnary Post UTME registration (2ND ROUND) for the 2025/2026 academic session is now open.

The management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to establish fifteen new undergraduate programmes. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the upcoming Post UTME Aptitude Test.

 

 

The University is also welcoming candidates who missed the first screening test or wish to apply for existing programmes.

The following 15 new degree programmes have been approved for the 2025/2026 session:

  • B.Sc. Food Science and Technology

Candidates interested in these programmes should register for the UMYU Post UTME screening through the official portal.

Exempted Programmes

The following programmes are not included in the current Post UTME exercise:
Agriculture, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Education & Computer Science, Environmental Management, International Relations, Law, Library and Information Science, Medicine & Surgery, and Microbiology.

Eligibility for UMYU Post UTME

To be eligible for the test, applicants must:

  • Choose Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, as their first choice during the 2025 UTME.
  • Score at least the minimum cut-off mark for their selected programme.
  • Possess the correct UTME subject combinations as required for the course.

Applicants who meet these conditions can register at the UMYU Post UTME Portal.

Required Documents for Registration

During registration, candidates must upload clear copies of the following documents:

  1. JAMB Result Slip for 2025 (UTME candidates).
  2. O’Level Result(s).
  3. Valid means of identification, such as Indigene Letter, National ID Card, or International Passport.

Applicants awaiting results can also apply.

Registration and Test Schedule

  • Registration Period: Saturday, 11 October 2025 – Friday, 17 October 2025
  • Aptitude Test Date: Saturday, 18 October 2025

Candidates identified by JAMB as having special needs are exempted from writing the test. Such applicants should send hard copies of their credentials directly to the Office of the Registrar.

Payment Method

All eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 (inclusive of all charges) for the aptitude test.

UTME candidates are to bring their payment slips to the test venue for verification.

The UMYU Part-Time Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session has been released. The School of Continuing Education (SCE) at Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) has published the names of candidates offered provisional admission into various part-time degree programmes for the new session.

Both UTME and Direct Entry applicants who applied for part-time studies can now check their admission status online through the University’s portal.

One more thing, if JAMB has marked you as a special needs candidate, you are free from the aptitude test. Still, you are expected to submit hard copies of your papers to the Registrar’s office.

Eligibility for UMYU Post UTME/Direct Entry Admission 2024/2025

Only those who meet these requirements are eligible to register.

DE candidates will undergo online screening through their application submissions and do not need to appear physically.
