  • Choose LASU as their first choice in the 2025 JAMB Direct Entry registration.
  • Have a LASU Diploma or other recognized qualifications (only LASU Diploma is accepted for DE admission, except NCE for Faculty of Education programmes).
  • Meet the O’level requirements listed above.

For LASU Pre-Degree and JUPEB Candidates

  • Pre-Degree Studies (PDS) students who completed their programme and scored at least 195 in the 2025 UTME, with LASU as their first choice, are eligible.
  • LASU Foundation (JUPEB) candidates who chose LASU as their first choice and obtained a JAMB Direct Entry form can also apply.

For Lagos State Indigenes

Candidates of Lagos State origin who have been verified by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) will have their claims automatically validated during the screening.

  • To calculate your aggregate score: Divide your UTME score by 8 (e.g., 250/8 = 31.25) and add your O’level points (e.g., 3 A1s and 2 B2s = 3×10 + 2×9 = 48). Total = 31.25 + 48 = 79.25%.
  • Medicine and Dentistry require one sitting, and competitive courses like Medicine (240), Nursing (220), and Law (195) may have higher departmental cut-off marks.

  • Choose PTI, Effurun as their first choice of institution during JAMB registration. Candidates who did not initially select PTI but scored 130 or above can change their first choice to PTI at any JAMB-accredited CBT centre before the screening date.

How to Apply

The application process is simple and can be done online. Follow these steps to apply:

  1. Visit the PTI website at https://www.pti.edu.ng.
  2. Go to the “Programmes Menu” and select “National Diploma & Higher National Diploma Programmes.”
  3. Click on “Apply Here” under the National Diploma Programmes section.
  4. Fill in the required details on the “Post UTME Applicant Sign On” page, including a valid email address and JAMB registration number.
  5. Click “Sign Up” at the bottom of the page and note down your username and password for future use.
  6. You will be directed to the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) page to generate an RRR code. Print this page and take it to any bank to pay N2,000, which is the cost of the application form.
  7. After payment, return to the PTI website, click on “Students’ Menu,” and select “Applicant Login.”
  8. Enter your username and password to log in and complete the online Post UTME screening form.
  9. Print the completed form and your RRR code, as you will need them at the screening centre along with your JAMB result and O’level results.

Important Information

  • The application fee is N2,000 and is non-refundable.
  • The online application portal will close on August 9, 2025. Late registration will be available from August 10 to August 18, 2025, for those who miss the initial deadline.
  • The screening exercise will take place from August 19 to August 21, 2025. Candidates must bring their printed application form, RRR code, JAMB result, and O’level results to the screening centre.
  • Ensure that your JAMB registration number and email address are correct when applying, as errors may lead to disqualification.
  • Inconsistent names or documents, such as O’level certificates or JAMB results, will not be accepted and may result in disqualification.
  • If you have issues logging in after payment, send an email to itsupport@pti.edu.ng with your RRR code or use the “Re-query” option on the PTI portal.
