University of Abuja (UNIABUJA)
UNIABUJA Post-UTME Pre-Admission Exercise 2025/2026

Here’s the part I really like – you don’t even have to leave your house if you don’t want to. The session will happen both in-person and online. Whether you live close or you’re chilling far away, you can still show up.

And guess who will be there? The Acting Vice-Chancellor. Yep, the actual oga at the top. You’ll be hearing straight from her mouth, not from one random Twitter thread or confusing group chat.

Let’s be real, admission into uni these days no be beans. Between the forms, cut-offs and deadlines, something always finds a way to confuse person. That’s why this session matters. You’ll get to understand what’s expected, what to avoid and how to not mess up your chances before they even look at your scores.

So, where and when is it happening?

Mark your calendar:

Abia State University (ABSU)
ABSU Post UTME/DE Admission Form for 2025/2026

ABSU has kicked off its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening for 2025/2026. If you scored 150 and above or plan to switch to ABSU, this is your sign to act. Read on for how to apply and avoid missing out.

The buzz is real this time. Abia State University (ABSU) has quietly begun its online screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. No big announcement, no drama — just a simple call to action for students who want in.

Whether ABSU was your first, second, or even “I-never-put-am-before” choice, the school is giving room to apply. As long as your UTME score reads 150 or above, and you’ve got your O’Level sorted, you’ve got a shot.

Let’s be honest, some people wait too long and then start asking “they don close am?” Don’t be that guy.

Who can apply?

ABSU didn’t draw any confusing line here. The screening is open to:

  • Candidates who chose ABSU as first or second choice
  • Those who didn’t choose ABSU but now want to switch (you go need change of institution though)
  • UTME candidates who scored 150 and above
  • Direct Entry applicants
  • Everyone with five O’Level credits, including English and Maths, in the right subjects

So yes, even if your earlier plans changed, and you now dey eye ABSU, the door no lock yet.

Where and how to apply

No need for long waka. You’ll do everything online, from payment to uploading documents.

Step 1: Log in to ABSU Portal

That’s where the whole thing starts. Make sure you’ve got your details handy — UTME number, email, and your results.

Step 2: Pay the screening fee

It’s ₦2,000, and you can pay through any of these:

  • ABSU Micro-Finance Bank, Uturu
  • Signature Bank
  • First Bank
  • Eco Bank
  • Zenith Bank
  • Fidelity Bank
  • Union Bank
  • UBA

Or use your bank card if you don’t feel like leaving your room.

Step 3: Upload your results

This includes your UTME score, O’Level (WAEC, NECO, etc), and A’Level/Degree if you’re going through Direct Entry. Don’t forget to upload on the JAMB portal too. Both sides must match.

Step 4: Wait. But don’t go offline.

They didn’t mention the exact screening date, but keep checking the site and your email. You can also email the school directly at registrar@abiastateuniversity.edu.ng if you’re confused.

Quick warning

If you don’t register, don’t expect admission. The school dey talk am clear. Even if you scored 300 in JAMB, no screening, no seat.

So, why ABSU?

Look, people go argue. Some will say “why Abia State?” but let’s face it — ABSU holds its own. Solid lecturers, decent learning environment, and a growing student body. If you’re ready to focus and not just do “I just want to enter school,” this might be a smart move.
