About the 2025 NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship
Nigeria LNG has opened the 2025 NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme to support outstanding first-year students in Nigerian public universities. The scheme is designed to reduce financial pressure on undergraduates and allow them focus fully on their academics. EducationNGR also learnt that the scholarship forms part of NLNG’s long-term investment in education and national development.
The award is strictly for first-degree students in federal and state universities across Nigeria.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
To qualify for the 2025/2026 scholarship cycle, applicants must:

Be Nigerian citizens currently residing in the country

Be full-time first-year undergraduates in the 2025/2026 academic session

Be enrolled in a federal or state university

Possess at least five O’Level credits in one sitting, including English and Mathematics

Score 200 and above in the JAMB UTME

Be between 18 and 25 years old at the time of application

Not be on any other scholarship or bursary

Not be a child, spouse, ward, or direct relative of an NLNG staff member
Only candidates who meet all requirements will be shortlisted.
