Nigerian Air Force DSSC Recruitment 2025 Is Ongoing – How to Apply

The Nigerian Air Force invites young graduates and postgraduates to apply for Direct Short Service Commission DSSC 34/2025. Registration is online, free of charge, and applicants must meet age, health, and academic rules. Please read the full notice for dates, steps, and documents to bring.

The Nigerian Air Force is opening the door for Direct Short Service Cadets. It is for skilled graduates who want to serve, quick and proper. Online registration runs from Wednesday, 27 August 2025 to Tuesday, 7 October 2025. A zonal test will follow, the date will show on the portal once set.

Who can apply, in plain words

  • Must be a Nigerian by birth.
  • Age range is 20 to 32 years.
  • Medical Doctors who are consultants may be 25 to 40 years.
  • Not for serving personnel seeking Branch Commission.
  • Serving personnel who apply must have at least 10 years service, be at the rank of Corporal, and have a written go-ahead from their Commander.
  • Height, at least 1.66 m for males, 1.63 m for females.
  • Clean record, no criminal conviction.
  • Fit in body and mind, meet NAF medical standards.

School and professional requirements

  • First degree with Second Class Upper or HND with Upper Credit.
  • NYSC Discharge or Exemption letter is required.
  • Extra edge, M.Sc or M.A, computer skills, or membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Five O-level credits, English and Mathematics included, plus three subjects linked to your course.
  • Medical applicants must hold valid registration with their Nigerian professional council.

How to apply without stress

  • Fill the free form on the NAF recruitment portal.
  • Read the list of accepted disciplines on the portal before you start, abeg.
  • After you submit, print these:
    • Acknowledgement Form.

    • Parent or Guardian Consent Form.
    • Local Government Area Attestation Form, to be signed by one of:
      • Military Officer from your state, rank Wing Commander or above in NAF, or equal rank in Army or Navy.
      • Police Officer, rank Assistant Commissioner or above.
      • Your Local Government Chairman or Secretary.
      • Magistrate from your state.
  • Attach to that attestation:
    • Passport photograph of the signatory.
    • A copy of the signatory’s Driver’s Licence or National ID or International Passport.
  • Note, the forms will not print for invalid entries. So type with care.

What happens next

  • Watch the portal for the Zonal Aptitude Test date.
  • Only successful people at that stage will be invited for the Selection Interview.
  • Keep your originals ready. No documents, no show. No dull.
