Either way, the steps are now clear on how to check and what to do next.

How to Check Your Admission Status

At the moment, there is only one official way to confirm your status, and that is through the JAMB CAPS portal. No shortcuts.

  • Visit the JAMB EFacility portal.
  • Log in using your JAMB username and password.
  • Scroll down and click Check Admission Status.

What to Do After Admission Offer

Once this is done, the next step takes you to the school side.

  • Log in to The Polytechnic Ibadan portal using your details.
  • Accept the admission there as well.
  • Proceed to pay your acceptance fee, which confirms your place fully.

A Word to Those Still Waiting

If your status has not flipped yet, patience is key. Many names are released in batches, and what is pending today can turn positive tomorrow. As we say here, “no be who first enter market dey sell finish.”

Word to the Freshers

To those whose names made it, this is the start of a new chapter. Well done. To the rest, the season is still open, do not throw away hope. Sometimes the later bus still gets you to the same destination.

How to Check Your Status

The school has kept it simple, no back and forth. Here is the direct way in:

That’s it. Just a few clicks and you know where you stand.

If Your Name Appears

Those who find their names have plenty to smile about. But joy alone won’t seal the deal. A few steps still stand in the way:

  • Pay the acceptance fee without delay.
  • Complete all registration steps as directed by the school.
  • Gather your papers, get your documents ready, and prepare for lectures.

It is like getting a key, but you still need to turn it to open the door.

For the New Session Ahead

The weekend programme is no small affair. It is built for those balancing work, family, and school. So if you made it in, brace yourself. The late nights, the rush from office to campus, the group work squeezed into weekends, it all begins soon. But that is the price of progress, and in the end, it pays.

A Word to the Freshers

Congratulations to every name on the list. This is your moment, own it. For those who didn’t see theirs, don’t lose heart. Sometimes life delays a little, but it doesn’t deny.

The list is out, the steps are clear, and Nekede is waiting. Better grab your chance now before e waka go.

Federal Polytechnic Nekede
Federal Poly Nekede ND Evening Admission List 2025/2026 Out

Federal Polytechnic Nekede has released the ND Evening admission list for 2025/2026. Candidates can now check their status online and follow the steps for acceptance and registration. Read below for full details and deadlines.

The wait is over. Federal Polytechnic, Nekede has rolled out the admission list for its National Diploma Evening programme, 2025/2026 session. For those who have been restless since the application closed, the result is now live. The portal is open, and your status is just a few clicks away.

How to Check Your Admission

Checking your status is not complicated. The school made the process straightforward, almost like buying airtime online:

If your name appears, a big congratulations. If not, take heart. Admission lists often come in batches, so there is still a chance.

First Steps After Admission

Getting in is just the start. To hold your space, you must act fast. The acceptance fee is ₦40,000, and it must be paid within two weeks. Payment is made through the Remita platform at any bank. Delay too long, and the school will quietly hand your slot to someone else.

Step by Step Registration

Once the fee is out of the way, the real process begins. The school expects every candidate to go through these steps:

  • Generate your acceptance invoice from the school website.
  • Pay and collect your receipt as proof.
  • Upload all your required documents on the school portal.
  • Keep an eye on your screening updates through SMS or email.
  • Once cleared, you will receive details for your school fees.
  • Create your portal ID, pay your fees online or at the bank, then collect your receipt.
  • Visit the medical centre for an X-ray test.
  • Go to the MIS unit to get your matric number and student ID card.
  • Log in again to register your semester courses.
  • Print your course form and submit it to your department for approval.

Sounds like plenty of steps, and yes, it is. But it is all part of entering the system properly.

Time is Ticking

Candidates have just one month from the date of acceptance to finish everything. Dragging your feet is risky, and missing the deadline means you could lose the admission altogether.

A Word of Caution

Be honest with your documents. If any lie is spotted later, the school can cancel your admission without warning. Better safe than sorry.

Final Note

For many, this admission list is the beginning of a new phase. The evening programme is tough, balancing work, life, and classes, but it is also rewarding. Nekede has opened the door. Now it is on you to step in before it closes.

  • Go to the Auchi Polytechnic admission list page.
  • Pick the programme you applied for, usually ND.
  • Select your department and the course of study.
  • Tap Check Admission List and wait for the result to pop up.

Using JAMB CAPS to Confirm

  • Visit the JAMB EFacility portal.
  • Log in with your username and password.
  • Scroll down until you see Check Admission Status.
  • Select Access my CAPS.
  • Click on Admission Status to view the update.

If you see Admission Still in Progress or Not Admitted, don’t panic. That message might change any moment. Keep checking from time to time.

Accepting or Rejecting Your Admission

For those who already see “offered admission,” the next step is easy. Use the phone number you registered with JAMB and send either ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019. Once you accept, make sure you print your JAMB admission letter.

Wrapping Things Up

Once your admission is confirmed and accepted, move on to complete every requirement given by Auchi Polytechnic. Skipping a step or delaying could affect your space.

This moment is big, no doubt. For some, it feels like crossing a long bridge after months of waiting. For others still waiting on the second list, don’t give up, e go soon land.
