Ongoing: FUTO Supplementary Admission Form 2025/2026 on Sale

Federal University of Technology Owerri has announced the Supplementary Post UTME for the 2025–2026 session. The portal opens 26th September and closes 7th October 2025. Eligible candidates are advised to follow the application steps and meet all listed requirements.

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri, or FUTO as most call it, has flagged off its Supplementary Post UTME screening. This is aimed at candidates who either picked FUTO first in their UTME or are willing to switch through JAMB CAPS. For many, it is that second chance that feels like catching the last bus of the day. The clock is ticking, and the school has drawn clear lines.

Dates and Age Requirement

The online portal swings open on Friday, 26th September 2025 and closes on Tuesday, 7th October 2025.

  • Applicants must be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2025.
  • Only those with a UTME score of 150 and above can apply.
  • JAMB subject combinations must match what is stated in the JAMB brochure for the chosen programme.

If you picked another school but scored above 150, you can still apply after changing to FUTO on JAMB CAPS.

O’Level Demands

Applicants need at least:

  • Five credits in English and Mathematics, plus three other relevant subjects.
  • Results must be from no more than two sittings.

Anything less is a straight no.

  1. Go to the FUTO website and click Prospective Students, then Undergraduate, or go straight to the portal link.
  2. Click on Generate invoice and enter your JAMB number.
  3. Pay the fee at a bank or online.

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has begun admission into its JUPEB programme for the 2025/2026 session. This one-year course gives students a route to 200-level admission into FUTO or other JUPEB-approved universities.

Who Can Apply

To qualify, you must have at least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. These must include English, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or any subject related to your planned course of study. Two sittings are allowed, but “awaiting result” is not accepted.

The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has begun accepting applications for the 2025/2026 Post UTME and Direct Entry screening.

If you picked FUTO as your first choice and scored 150 or more, you’re good to go. Don’t panic if you didn’t choose them at first—you can still switch on JAMB CAPS. Just do it before applying.

The application runs from Wednesday, 23 July to Sunday, 31 August 2025. No extensions have been promised, so don’t wait till the last day.

Who Is Eligible?

  • You must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025
  • Scored 150 or higher in UTME
  • Have at least 5 credits in O’Level, including English and Maths, plus three related subjects. MBBS applicants must have all five in one sitting
