The Federal University of Environment and Technology (FUET), Koroma/Sakpenwa, has announced the release of details on how candidates can check their admission status for the 2025/2026 academic session.
Candidates who applied to FUET can now confirm their admission status through the official JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal.
How to Check FUET Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Currently, the FUET admission list is available only on the JAMB CAPS portal. To check your admission status:
Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal.
Log in with your JAMB username and password.
Scroll down and select Check Admission Status.
Click on Access my CAPS.
Choose Admission Status to view whether you have been offered admission into FUET.
Meaning of JAMB CAPS Admission Responses
Below are the possible messages you may see on the JAMB CAPS portal and what each means:
ADMISSION OFFERED: You have been admitted. Accept or reject the offer directly on the CAPS portal.
ADMISSION IN PROGRESS (AIP): Your application is being reviewed by the university and JAMB. Approval is pending.
RECOMMENDED: The university has considered your application and is awaiting JAMB’s final approval.
NOT ADMITTED: Your application has not been approved or considered yet. It may still be under review.
PENDING: The admission process is still ongoing. Check back later.
What to Do After Being Offered Admission
If you have been offered admission, you can accept or reject the offer through biometric verification at an authorised JAMB CBT Centre or by SMS.
To accept or reject your offer via SMS, send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number registered with JAMB. Ensure you have at least ₦50 in your main balance, as borrowed credit cannot be used for this service.
After accepting the offer, print your JAMB admission letter for record purposes.
Checking Admission Status on Mobile Devices
If you are using a phone, you may not see the Check Admission Status option on CAPS immediately. To fix this, open the page in desktop mode.
For Android users, use the Chrome browser and select Request Desktop Site from the menu to load the full page.
