Federal University Dutse Opens Portal for 2025/2026 NELFund Loan

Federal University Dutse (FUD) has announced the official opening of the portal for the 2025/2026 Student NELFund Loan. The application window, which began on 23 October 2025, will close on 21 January 2026. The management encouraged all eligible students to apply early to secure financial support for the new academic year.

Eligible Students Urged to Apply Before January Deadline

According to EducationNGR, the NELFund Loan covers essential academic costs, including registration fees, service charges, and upkeep allowances. This initiative aims to ease financial pressure on students and promote uninterrupted learning at FUD during the 2025/2026 academic session. Students are advised to carefully review all application guidelines before proceeding.

How to Apply for the FUD Student NELFund Loan

Applicants should log into the university’s official portal using their matriculation number and password. After signing in, they can access the NELFund Loan section and follow the detailed on-screen instructions to complete the application process.

It is crucial that all students verify their eligibility status before applying. Applicants must ensure that all personal and academic details entered are correct to avoid processing delays or disqualification.

EducationNGR also gathered that students experiencing difficulties with their applications can seek assistance from the NELFund Desk Officer in the Bursary Department, the NELFund Unit, or the University’s ICT Directorate. These offices remain available throughout the application period to provide guidance and support.

Guidance for FUD Students

The university urged students to complete their submissions well before the closing date to prevent last-minute challenges with the online portal. FUD reaffirmed its commitment to supporting students’ academic progress through initiatives that promote financial inclusion and educational continuity.
