All newly admitted candidates for both ND and HND programmes are required to complete their registration and documentation through the official BIDAPOLY portal.

Step-by-Step Guide for Federal Polytechnic, Bida Registration

Checking Admission and Getting Login Details

  1. Visit the Federal Polytechnic Bida Portal.
  2. Click on 2025/2026 Admission Status and Registration Procedure to confirm your admission and retrieve your Student ID.
  3. Enter your active email address.
  4. Click on Request for New Password on the ePortal login page.
  5. Type your Student ID/Registration Number and select Request for Password.
  6. Check your email inbox (or spam folder) for the password.
  7. Return to the portal, enter your Student ID and the new password, and click Login.
  8. Once logged in, download your admission letter, update your personal records, and upload your passport photograph and signature.

Acceptance Fee Payment

After updating your profile, the acceptance fee payment option will appear automatically.

  • Click Pay and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • You can pay through any of these methods: debit cards, mobile money, QR code, bank account, or USSD.
  • Keep your payment receipt safe.

Payment of the acceptance fee must be completed within two weeks of receiving the admission letter.

Online Clearance

After payment, proceed with the clearance process:

  1. Log in to the ePortal.
  2. Click on Student Data, then Academic Records.
  3. Select Add Academic Record, fill in your O’Level results, and upload required documents.
  4. Click Submit Now and wait for clearance approval (usually within 24 hours).
  5. Once cleared, pay the registration fee. The portal will automatically generate your Matriculation Number.
  6. Open and complete the Medical Form and Course Registration Form online.

All registrations and payments must be completed within four weeks of receiving your admission letter.

Required Documents for Documentation

After completing your online registration, submit the following items to the Registry Department:

  • Copies of academic credentials or result printouts (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
  • Two recent passport photographs.
  • Certificate of confirmation as an indigene from your Local Government Council.
  • Letter of attestation of good character from a parent, guardian, or sponsor.
  • Medical fitness certificate from a recognised hospital.
