It’s that time again when numbers start speaking louder than words. Delta State University, Abraka, has dropped its Direct Entry cut-off marks for the new academic session, and let’s be honest—these figures can make or break your admission dream. No drama, no long talk, just numbers on a sheet that decide who moves forward and who tries again next year.

If you’ve been waiting to see where you stand, now’s the moment. Some marks will make you breathe easy, others might leave you staring at the ceiling for a while. Either way, it’s all part of the hustle.

DELSU Direct Entry Cut-Off Marks by Faculty

Let’s get right into it. Below are the officially approved Direct Entry cut-off marks across all faculties for 2025/2026.

Every course here holds steady at 40—from Agribusiness Management to Soil Science. Straight and simple.

Faculty of Allied Health Sciences

  • Medical Laboratory Science – 60
  • Nursing – 80
  • Pharmacology – 40

Nursing, as usual, stays way up there. Not for the faint-hearted.

Faculty of Arts

  • English & Literary Studies – 40
  • Fine & Applied Arts – 45
  • History and International Studies – 45
  • Theatre Arts – 75
  • Others like French, Linguistics, Music, and Philosophy – 40

Faculty of Basic Medical Science

All three courses—Anatomy, Medical Biochemistry, and Physiology—rest at 40. Quiet zone, but competitive nonetheless.

Faculty of Clinical Science

  • Medicine & Surgery – 88

You probably saw that coming. Getting into Medicine here? Tough like old bread.

Faculty of Communication & Media Studies

Every course—Advertising, Broadcasting, Film, Journalism, Public Relations—sits at 40, except Mass Communication which climbs to 76. No surprise there; everyone wants a seat behind the mic.

Faculty of Dentistry

No Direct Entry this year. If you were aiming for that, maybe next round.

Faculty of Education

This faculty brings a mix of moderate and high numbers:

  • Business Education – 75
  • Biology Education – 71
  • English Education – 67
  • Political Science Education – 69

  • Business Administration – 80
  • Public Administration – 73

Another high wall. But if you love the white coat, climb it.

Faculty of Science

  • Biochemistry – 73
  • Computer Science – 75
