Scholarship Awards Eligibility
To qualify for theĀ Ekiti State Government Scholarship Award, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Be in theirĀ 2nd year or aboveĀ in their course of study.
- Possess aĀ WASSCE/NECO certificateĀ with at least five credits, includingĀ English LanguageĀ andĀ Mathematics, in one sitting.
- Maintain aĀ minimum CGPA of 4.0Ā for university students or its equivalent,Ā 3.50Ā for polytechnics, andĀ 3.50Ā for NCE students.
ForĀ Masterās DegreeĀ andĀ Ph.D. candidates, aĀ 2nd Class Upper DivisionĀ at the undergraduate level is required. Ph.D. applicants must have aĀ distinctionĀ in their Masterās Degree. AĀ letter of recommendationĀ from the Head of Department is also necessary.
Physically challenged students inĀ universities,Ā polytechnics,Ā colleges of education, andĀ schools of nursing/midwiferyĀ are eligible for theĀ Handicapped Scholarship Award.
Part-timeĀ andĀ SandwichĀ students are not eligible for this award.
Bursary Awards Eligibility
All students inĀ undergraduate programmes,Ā polytechnics,Ā colleges of education, andĀ health institutionsĀ are eligible for theĀ Ekiti State Government Bursary Award.
