A little side note, if you are using a phone, you may not see the full page. Many students get stuck with only the welcome screen showing. Switch your browser to desktop mode, especially if you are on Chrome, then you will see everything.

What the Responses Mean

When you check, you may see different replies. Each one carries its own meaning:

  • Admission Offered: Your admission is ready. Accept or reject it through CAPS, simple as that.
  • Admission in Progress (AIP): Your school has said yes, but JAMB has not given the final nod yet.
  • Recommended: You are on the table for JAMB’s review. Hold on.
  • Not Admitted: Your name is not on the list at this time. Could be your school has not pushed out its full list yet.
  • Pending: Your application is still cooking, no final word.

What to Do Next After Admission

Candidates who see an offer must act. Send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 from your JAMB-registered phone number. After you accept, go ahead and print your JAMB admission letter. Keep it safe, because you will need it later.
