CUSTECH has released the full academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session. The schedule covers semester dates, lectures, exams, breaks, and other key events. All students are advised to take note and plan accordingly.

A new session mapped out

The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) has published its official timetable for the 2025/2026 academic session. The calendar lays out the flow of the year, with clear dates for lectures, breaks, tests, and ceremonies. For students, it is a guidebook of what lies ahead.

The first semester kicks off in October, moving through orientation, classes, assessments, and finally examinations before a short breather. The second semester follows in March, wrapping up by July, after which practical training takes the stage.

First semester activities

Here is how the first half of the year is set:

  • Commencement: Monday, 20 October 2025
  • Course registration and revalidation: 20–31 October 2025
  • Orientation week: General on 3 November, departmental and faculty sessions from 4–7 November
  • Lectures: 3 November – 12 December 2025 (6 weeks)
  • Continuous Assessment (CA): 15–19 December 2025
  • Christmas break: 23 December 2025 – 2 January 2026
  • Lectures resume: 5 January – 13 February 2026 (6 weeks)
  • Matriculation ceremony: Tuesday, 27 January 2026
  • Revision week: 16–20 February 2026
  • Examinations: 23 February – 7 March 2026
  • End of first semester: Saturday, 7 March 2026
  • Semester break: 9–20 March 2026

Second semester schedule

The academic train resumes with the second semester:

  • Commencement: Monday, 23 March 2026
  • Lectures: 23 March – 8 May 2026 (6 weeks)
  • Continuous Assessment (CA): 11–16 May 2026
  • Lectures continue: 18 May – 3 July 2026 (6 weeks)
  • Revision week: 6–10 July 2026
  • Examinations: 13–25 July 2026
  • End of semester: Saturday, 25 July 2026

Industrial training and practical work

After exams, the focus shifts to hands-on experience:

  • SIWES/SWEP: Monday, 27 July – Friday, 16 October 2026 (8 weeks)

This period is designed for practical exposure, giving students a taste of real work outside the classroom.
