Rivers State University (RSU), Nkpolu-Oroworukwo, Port Harcourt, has released the schedule for the clearance exercise of newly admitted candidates for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a statement signed by the Registrar, Mrs. Ibimonia B. S. Harry, the physical clearance exercise for candidates offered provisional admission into Year One and Direct Entry will take place from Wednesday, 5 November to Friday, 7 November 2025, between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
The clearance exercise will begin at the Information, Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC) of the university before proceeding to the various faculties for final verification.
RSU Clearance Requirements for Fresh Students
All newly admitted students are expected to bring the following documents to the clearance venue:

Original JAMB Result Slip

Accepted Admission Status from JAMB (CAPS)

Original O’Level Certificates

Birth Certificate
-
Local Government Identification Letter

Acceptance Fee Receipt

Other printouts from the student’s RSU portal
Candidates are urged to comply strictly with the clearance dates and instructions to avoid delays in registration.

The university management emphasised that the clearance process is a mandatory requirement before registration and class attendance. Candidates who fail to complete the clearance within the stipulated period risk forfeiting their admission.
