How to Register and Participate in the NECO Mock Exam
To help candidates become familiar with the new system, NECO has organised a mock examination. Candidates can participate by following these steps:
Step 1: Access the Registration Portal
Visit the official NECO mock registration portal: practice-exam-reg.neco.gov.ng
Step 2: Complete the Registration Form
Fill in all required details accurately to complete your registration. Ensure your information is correct before submitting the form.
Step 3: Check Your Email for Further Instructions
After registration, check your email inbox for instructions sent to the address provided. This will include your registration number and exam guidelines.
Step 4: Log in to the Exam Portal
Access the exam portal at practice-exam.neco.gov.ng and enter your registration number to log in.
Step 5: Begin the Mock Exam
Follow the on-screen instructions to start the mock exam. The exercise is designed to familiarise candidates with NECO’s CBT interface and exam format, ensuring they are prepared for the 2025 SSCE External.
