NDA Opens Postgraduate Admission Forms for 2025/2026 Session

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, has commenced the sale of application forms for admission into its postgraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. EducationNGR also learnt that the online application window opens on 15 December 2025 and closes on 15 March 2026.

Applications are open for Academic and Professional postgraduate programmes across Arts and Social Sciences, Engineering Technology, Management Sciences, Military Science and Interdisciplinary Studies, and Science.

General Admission Requirements

All applicants into PhD, M.A, M.Ed, M.Sc, and M.Eng programmes must provide official academic transcripts.

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes

  • Five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum Third Class) or HND (Lower Credit)

Professional Masters’ Programmes

  • Five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics

  • Second Class Lower Bachelor’s degree or HND Lower Credit

  • PGD (minimum Lower Credit) in a relevant area

Academic Masters’ Programmes

  • Five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics

  • Second Class Lower Bachelor’s degree or HND Upper Credit

  • PGD (minimum Upper Credit) where applicable

MPhil/PhD Programmes

  • Five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics

  • Second Class Honours Bachelor’s degree

  • Academic Master’s degree with CGPA 3.0–3.49 (on a 5-point scale)

PhD Programmes

  • Second Class Honours Bachelor’s degree

  • Academic Master’s degree with CGPA of at least 3.5 (or 60%)

Important Notes

  • Holders of Professional Masters are not eligible for MPhil/PhD or PhD programmes

  • Weekend (Friday–Saturday) MPhil/PhD programmes run for double the duration of full-time programmes

  • Verify email and make payment online

  • Complete biodata and contact details

  • Select preferred programme

  • Upload O’Level results and verification cards

  • Add at least two referees (who must respond)

  • Enter academic and professional qualifications

  • Preview and submit the application form

Corrections can be made before final submission. No changes are allowed after submission.
