JAMB Notice to UTME Candidates on Results Re-Uploading 2025

JAMB has asked all UTME candidates to re-upload their WAEC SSCE results for 2025. The earlier uploads have been cleared, so only final WAEC records will count. Please act fast and check your portal to stay in the admission race.

So here’s the thing. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has dropped fresh instructions that caught many students off guard. Everyone who took the UTME and had earlier uploaded their O’level results, especially those who did so before the final WAEC results came out, now has to go back and re-upload. Yes, again.

Why this sudden move?

JAMB explained that it cleared all the old records from its system. The reason is simple, they want to avoid mix-ups that could come from half-done uploads. Some students had put in “awaiting results” or partial scores while the exam body was still marking scripts. That, according to JAMB, can cause wahala later during admission checks.

  • Old uploads no longer count
  • Only final WAEC results will be accepted
  • Even if what you uploaded before matches, you still need to re-do it

It sounds like extra stress, but the aim is to keep the admission process clean. Nobody wants to hear stories of mismatched grades when cut-off marks are being decided.

What JAMB expects now

The bulletin from Monday laid it out plain. Every UTME candidate should head to an accredited centre and upload their complete WAEC SSCE results again. It does not matter if nothing has changed, the system needs a fresh copy linked to your profile. Think of it like wiping a chalkboard and writing afresh, so everything is neat.

JAMB says this step is not optional. If you want your name to stand in line for admission lists, you need to update your record quickly. Those who drag their feet might find themselves sidelined when schools start their selections.
