Ekiti State Scholarship & Bursary Awards 2024/2025

This is to inform the general public especially students of the higher institutions of learning that the Government of Ekiti State has graciously approved the commencement of full digitalization of Bursary/ Scholarship award for 2024/2025 Academic session from Undergraduate to post graduate levels.

Free Online Application forms for undergraduates, Polytechnic, Master’s Degree, Ph.D and Physically Challenged are now available to Prospective applicants at Ekiti State Scholarship Board, New Secretariat, Ado-Ekiti.

ELIGIBILITY for Ekiti State Scholarship Scholarship & Bursary Awards 2024/2025:

A: SCHOLARSHIP AWARD:

Applicants must be in 2nd year and above in their courses of study to be qualified for undergraduate Scholarship Awards. And must possess WASSCE/NECO. with a minimum of five Credits including Engisn Language and Mathematics at a sitting, and minimum CGPA of 4.0 for University or equivalent of a Second Class (Upper Division), 3.50 for Polytechnics and 3.50 for NCE in their current institutions of study.

Applicants for Master’s Degree and Ph.D Scholarship Award must possess a minimum of 2nd Class (Upper Division) at Undergraduate level. A grade of distinction in Master’s Degree is an additional prerequisite for Ph.D Scholarship Award.

For Ph.D Scholarship, any candidate with a first degree certificate lesser than second class (Upper Division) and a grade of distinction in master’s degree is not eligible. A letter of recommendation from the H.O.D. is required.

Physically Challenged Students in Tertiary Institutions (University, Polytechnic, College of Education, School of Nursing/Midwifery, College of Health Tech and Post Graduates) are qualified for the Handicapped Scholarship Award.

Students on Part-Time and Sandwich Courses are NOT qualified for the Scholarship Awards.

 

B: BURSARY AWARD:

All undergraduates, Polytechnics, College of Education, Schools of Nursing/Midwifery, Colleges of Health Technology Students are eligible.

DATE OF SUBMISSION: All prospective applicants are to complete the process of application online on or before THURSDAY 31ST OCTOBER, 2024.
