About the 2025/2026 Bode Amao Foundation Bursary
The Bode Amao Foundation (BAF) has announced the opening of its 2025/2026 BAF Bursary Award for qualified Nigerian undergraduates. The scheme supports indigent students in selected public universities who have demonstrated strong academic performance. EducationNGR also learnt that the bursary focuses strictly on students pursuing their first degree.
The award is designed to ease financial pressure and help students stay focused on their studies.
Coverage Universities for the 2025/2026 Award
Only students enrolled in the following institutions during the 2025/2026 session are eligible:
Southeast Zone

Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State
Southwest Zone

University of Ibadan, Ibadan
South South Zone

Federal University of Technology, Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State
North Central Zone

Federal University of Health Technology, Otukpo, Benue State
North East Zone
-
Federal University, Wukari, Taraba State
North West Zone
-
Federal University, Gusau, Zamfara State
Only students from these universities will be considered.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Academic Performance

Applicants must have strong academic records.

CGPA will be a major determinant.

Students should have verifiable academic documents ready.
Level of Study and Status

Applicants must be 200-level students at the time of filling the form.

They must be bonafide, fully registered undergraduates in one of the listed universities.
Indigent Certification by the Registrar
A valid application must include:

An indigent certification signed by the Registrar of the applicant’s university.

This confirms the student’s financial need.
How to Apply for the BAF Bursary
Step 1: Download the Application Form
