Key notes for candidates

  • A maximum of two O’level results is allowed.

Yaba College of Technology, popularly known as YABATECH, has thrown open the gates for Post UTME applications. The call is for those who sat for the 2025 UTME and are eyeing admission into the Full-Time National Diploma or the B.Sc. (Ed.) programmes in technical education. The degree arm runs in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and candidates aiming for 100 or 200 level slots are covered.

YABATECH Post UTME Eligibility

To stand a chance, candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • First Choice: YABATECH must be selected as the first-choice school.
  • UTME Score: A minimum of 160 in the UTME applies to both ND and B.Sc. degree (100 level) courses.
  • Direct Entry: B.Sc. degree (200 level) candidates applying through direct entry should also register via the college portal.
  • Age Requirement: All candidates must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025. Anyone younger is strongly advised not to apply.
  • Choice Adjustment: Those who placed YABATECH as second or third choice must change it to first choice on the JAMB portal before applying.
