UNIPORT Postgraduate Admission Form 2025/2026 Released

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the Postgraduate Admission into its various graduate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. UNIPORT Postgraduate General Admission Requirements

O’Level Requirements

Every applicant must have credit passes in English Language and Mathematics.
Candidates who obtained their O’Level certificates before 2012 and do not have a credit in Mathematics may still apply for programmes in:

  • Faculty of Humanities
  • Faculty of Education
  • Faculty of Social Sciences (except the Department of Economics)

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes

Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with Second Class Honours or Third Class.
HND holders need a minimum of Upper Credit.

For the Postgraduate Diploma in Chemistry (PGDC), applicants with a Third Class are not eligible.

Master’s Degree Programmes

Candidates must hold at least a Second Class Honours (Lower Division) degree in a relevant course from UNIPORT or any recognised university.

For the Master’s in Education, candidates with degrees in other disciplines must hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) with Upper Credit.
Those applying for the MBA should have a strong quantitative background.
Holders of a PGD must have a CGPA of 3.50 or above to qualify for the Master’s level.

Ph.D. Programmes

Ph.D. applicants must have a Master’s Degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 or its equivalent. Admission is based on interview performance and includes coursework and a qualifying examination.

MD/MS Programmes

  • Candidates must be graduates of Medicine (MBBS) from UNIPORT for at least five years or confirmed academic staff of the university.
  • In addition, candidates must hold a recognised fellowship qualification or an M.Sc. Degree in a related area.

Duration of UNIPORT Postgraduate Programmes

  • PGDE: Full-time, 12–24 months; Sandwich, two long vacations of 8 weeks each.
  • MBA: Full-time, 24–36 months; Part-time, 36–48 months.
  • MD/MS: Minimum of 24 months.
  • Ph.D.: Full-time, 24–60 months; Part-time, 36–84 months.
  • DBA: Full-time, 3–5 years; Part-time, 5–7 years.

How to Apply for UNIPORT Postgraduate Admission

Applicants should pay a ₦15,000 application fee at any of these banks:
U&C Microfinance Bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank, Access Bank, EcoBank, First Bank, or Sterling Bank.

₦15,000 fee is also required for the Prospectus, payable to U&C Microfinance Bank Ltd, Choba (Account Number: 1100236739).

After payment, candidates can download the application form via the UNIPORT School of Graduate Studies portal.
Please note that payment of the form fee does not guarantee admission and is non-refundable.

Apply Now: FUTES-IYIN Post UTME Admsiion Form 2025/2026

The Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences, Iyin-Ekiti (FUTES-IYIN) has opened applications for the Post UTME screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. Qualified candidates who wish to study any of the university’s undergraduate programmes can now apply online. All admissions will be processed through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

Applicants must meet all conditions set by both JAMB and the university before their admission can be considered.

 

 

Eligibility for FUTES-IYIN Post UTME

To qualify for admission, candidates must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age by 30 September 2025.
  • Have sat for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
  • Attain a minimum JAMB score of 160, though some courses may require higher scores.
  • Hold at least five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in WASSCE, NECO, or NABTEB, obtained at a single sitting, or six credits at two sittings.
  • Upload their O’Level results to the university’s admission portal.

Candidates with scores below the minimum JAMB requirement are not eligible to apply for admission to FUTES-IYIN.

How to Apply for FUTES-IYIN Post UTME

  1. Change of Institution
    Interested candidates who did not initially select FUTES-IYIN as their first choice must apply for a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal.
  2. Access the Admission Portal
    Visit the FUTES Admission Portal and read all registration guidelines carefully before beginning the process.
  3. Apply as “OTHER” Choice
    Candidates who cannot find their details under the “FIRST Choice” option may apply using the “OTHER” Choice category. They must still complete the change of institution to FUTES-IYIN on JAMB CAPS before the registration deadline.
  4. Payment
    Applicants are to pay a Post UTME Screening Fee of ₦2,000 and a Portal Access Fee of ₦3,000 through the REMITA platform on the university portal.
  5. Final Screening
    The university will verify all applications and notify candidates of their aggregate scores after the screening process.

How to Apply for the DELSU Direct Entry Change of Course Form

  1. Apply for a Change of Course/Programme on JAMB Portal:
    Visit any accredited JAMB CBT centre and request a change of course to any programme with a cut-off mark lower than your aggregate score.
  2. Visit the DELSU Portal:
    Go to the DELSU student portal to update your application details and confirm the change.
  3. For DELSU JUPEB and CCEP Candidates:
    Forward evidence of your JAMB change of course and the portal update to the respective Directors of JUPEB and CCEP for processing.

Important Notes for Applicants

a. The new course must have a cut-off mark lower than your current aggregate.

  • Example: If the cut-off mark for Mass Communication is 76, only candidates who scored 76 and above may switch to that course.

b. Candidates must ensure that their O’level and Direct Entry qualifications meet the requirements of their new chosen course.

c. The closing date for the DELSU Direct Entry Change of Course Form is Sunday, 19th October 2025.

d. No extension will be granted after the deadline.

e. Candidates from DELSU JUPEB and CCEP will be given priority in processing.

Applicants who meet these conditions can register at the UMYU Post UTME Portal.

Required Documents for Registration

New: Khadija University Majia (KUM) Post UTME Form 2025/2026

The Khadija University Post UTME screening form for the 2025/2026 academic session is now available.

The management of Khadija University, Majia (KUM) has announced that its online application portal officially opens on 13 October 2025. Qualified candidates are invited to apply for undergraduate admission into the University’s degree programmes.

 

 

Who Can Apply

Candidates seeking admission through UTME or Direct Entry (DE) can apply, provided they meet the following conditions:

  1. UTME Candidates: Must have a minimum score of 150 in the 2025 UTME examination.
  2. Direct Entry Applicants: Must have at least a Lower Credit in a National Diploma (ND).
  3. IJMB Candidates: Must earn a minimum of 4 points in two subjects.
  4. All applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings of the SSCE or its equivalent.

1. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

Applicants must hold:

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a Third Class Division, or
  • Higher National Diploma (HND) from an accredited institution.

2. Professional Masters

Applicants must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least a Second Class Lower Division, or
  • PGD in a relevant field with at least a Merit classification.
  • HND holders must also possess a PGD in the same or related field.

3. M.Sc. and MBA Programmes

  • Minimum of five credit passes including English and Mathematics at O’Level.
  • Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower or 2.70 CGPA.

The Nigerian Air Force has opened applications for Airmen and Airwomen under Basic Military Training Course 46/2025. Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Recruitment is free. Who can apply

  • Applicants must be Nigerian citizens.
  • Minimum height: 1.66 m for males, 1.63 m for females.
