Application Procedures for Gombe State College of Health Tech 2024

Follow these steps to apply for the Post UTME Screening:

1. Login to the application portal:

2. Check your eligibility:
   Enter your JAMB registration number correctly to check if you qualify.
3. Select your course:
   Choose the course you applied for from the list of available options.
4. Create an account:
   Use your email address as the username to create an account on the platform.
5. Payment of screening fee:
   Pay a screening fee of N2,000 to proceed with the application.
6. Fill the screening form:
   Complete the form by providing the following details:
   • Personal Information: First name, Middle name, Surname, Phone number, Course applied for, Gender, SSCE scratch card pin, SSCE type, State of origin, Local Government Area of origin.
   • JAMB Information: JAMB Registration number, Total score, Subject taken in JAMB and the scores obtained in each.
7. Submit and print:
   After filling in all the required details, click on Submit and print your slip for future reference.

Important Notes

• Candidates are strongly advised to upload their O’Level results onto the JAMB website (CAPS) at the nearest JAMB Office or JAMB accredited CBT Centre. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from admission.

The Federal Polytechnic, Ugep Post UTME Application form for the 2024/2025 academic session is now available. Registration has started and will close on Monday, 30th September 2024.

This provides an opportunity for prospective students to pursue courses in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Statistics.

Eligibility for Screening

To be eligible for the Federal Polytechnic, Ugep Post UTME screening, candidates must meet the following conditions:

• Have written the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
• Have a minimum score of 100 marks or above.
• Have selected Federal Polytechnic, Ugep as the first choice in the UTME.
• Pay a non-refundable screening fee of N2000 through Remitta using the GIFMIS CODE 0517018031.

If you did not select Federal Polytechnic, Ugep as your first choice, you can still apply by changing your first choice to Federal Polytechnic, Ugep via the JAMB portal before the deadline on 30th September 2024.

Ensure that you meet the Minimum Admission Requirements, which include five O’Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and two other subjects from Chemistry, Geography, Biology, or Computer Science, within two sittings.

Mode of Screening

For the 2024/2025 Post UTME, screening will be based on the internal review of candidates’ results.

All candidates must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) before the deadline on 30th September 2024.

c. Holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least an upper credit from a recognized Institution in Agriculture or related disciplines may be considered;

d. HND holders with lower credit with relevant post-qualification experience; and

e. Holders of other qualifications which may be acceptable to the Academic Board.

Form Acquisition Cost

The application form costs ₦2,500 and can be paid at any commercial bank.

Candidates must first generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) for deposit into the Polytechnic TSA Account.

Online Application Process

1. Create an account at the WUFPBK screening portal.
2. Log in and continue the application process.
3. Generate a Remita code from the Application Tab or the Remita logo.
4. Visit a reliable cyber café for assistance if needed.
5. Pay ₦2,500 at the bank and obtain the “Payment Advice” printout.
6. Return to the portal and complete your application.
7. Upload a recent passport-sized photograph.
8. Print the completed application form, which will be required during the screening.

Upon successful completion, candidates will receive confirmation via SMS.

Post UTME Screening Exercise Details

Candidates should come for the screening with original and photocopies of their credentials.

Proof of the ₦2,500 screening fee payment via Remita is mandatory.
