UI Post UTME/DE Form for 2025/2026 Undergraduate Admission

UI has opened its Post UTME and Direct Entry portal for 2025/2026 admission. Applicants must have scored 200 or above and should complete registration by 17 August. Details on payment, exam dates, and entry rules are below.

The University of Ibadan (UI) will start receiving applications for Post UTME and Direct Entry from Monday, 21 July 2025. If you scored 200 or more in this year’s UTME and chose UI as your first choice, then you’re eligible.

The deadline to apply is Saturday, 17 August 2025. Don’t count on any extension. Just get it done early.

How to Pay and Register

Go to the UI admission portal. Use your JAMB registration number as your username and your surname (in capital letters) as the starting password. Example:

Username: 202412345678EG

Password: OYEDELE

Once logged in:

  • Pay the portal access fee of ₦3,000
  • Pay the screening fee of ₦2,000
  • You can pay with a card, through bank transfer, or by walking into a bank with the printout

After payment, print the receipt. It’s your proof.

Post UTME Exam Date

The test will run from Monday, 25 August to Wednesday, 27 August 2025.

UI will later send each candidate their exact exam date. Make sure your email and phone number are correct and active. If you miss a message because of a wrong detail, that’s on you.

Admission Rules to Note

If you won’t turn 16 by 30 September 2025, you’re not eligible.

O’Level Requirements:

  • College of Medicine and Pharmacy: Must have 5 credits in one sitting
  • Other courses: You can use two sittings, but must have at least 6 credits total in the relevant subjects

UI accepts only the following for Direct Entry:

  • WAEC
  • NECO
  • Cambridge A Level
  • NCE
  • ND
  • HND
  • Bachelor’s Degree (from recognised schools)

Not accepted: IJMB and JUPEP.

  6. Attach photocopies of your credentials to the printed bio-data form.

OAU Post-UTME/DE 2025: Cut-off mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has announced the commencement of registration for its 2025 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (Post-UTME) screening exercise. The registration is open to both UTME and Direct Entry candidates who meet the specified requirements.

Cut-off Mark and Eligibility

UTME Candidates

Candidates who chose Obafemi Awolowo University as their first choice in the 2025 UTME and scored 200 and above are eligible to participate in the screening exercise.

Direct Entry Candidates

All candidates who applied for Direct Entry (DE) admission to OAU are also eligible to register for the screening exercise.

Registration Period

The registration for the Post-UTME screening exercise will commence on Monday, 21st July, 2025 and end on Sunday, 24th August, 2025.

Registration Process

Candidates must follow these five steps to complete their registration:

Step 1: Visit the official OAU admissions portal at https://admissions.oauife.edu.ng

Step 2: Log into the site using your JAMB Registration Number as your Username and your Surname as your Password. The password is not case-sensitive.

Step 3: Complete the biodata form and click continue to proceed.

Step 4: Obtain a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) from the portal and use it to make payment online or at any commercial bank.

Step 5: After payment confirmation, the system will log you out. You can then log in again using the same process in Steps 1 and 2.
