University of Ilesa UNILESA
UNILESA Certificate/Diploma in Paramedic & Medical Emergency 2025/2026

University of Ilesa has opened applications for Certificate and Diploma courses in Paramedic and Medical Emergency Services for 2025/2026. Forms cost ₦10,000 and the training runs between three to six months. Interested persons are encouraged to apply early.

The University of Ilesa in Osun has quietly rolled out something that may shape futures. Tucked inside the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences is a call for fresh hands in the field of paramedic and medical emergency work. The announcement is not loud with fireworks, yet the message carries force. Forms are out, training slots are few, and those who want in will need to move quickly.

Picture this, a class of learners, half nervous, half eager, stepping into training that could one day mean the line between life and death for someone else. That is what is on offer here.

What the programme looks like

The design is simple, short, and straight to the point. There are two options, each offering intensive drills and practice.

  • Certificate Course: runs for 3 months, focused and tight.
  • Diploma Course: stretches to 6 months, for those who want more depth.

Both are structured to move fast, with heavy attention on practice. You don’t just sit in classrooms, you get into teaching hospitals, learning with real cases, not just theories on a board.

Who can apply and how

Applications are open to those who already hold five O’ Level credits. That includes English and Mathematics, alongside three other subjects. The form costs ₦10,000, and it can be collected at the Admissions Office inside the university. No tricks, no hidden fees, just that.

One thing though, places are limited. The school has said it plain, “limited spaces available.” And in truth, that means anyone waiting too long may end up watching from the sidelines.

Why people may be drawn here

The school is banking on a mix of things to attract students:

  • Lecturers with real field practice.
  • Training with proper, working equipment.
  • Exposure in well-known hospitals where theory meets reality.
  • Clear job routes in emergency response work.

It’s almost like they’re saying, “come ready, leave capable.”

Not everyone can jump on board. The school has set some basic lines in the sand:

  • JAMB score must be 160 or higher.
  • Five O’Level credits in the right subjects.
  • Bio-data form must be filled in carefully.

And a warning, those who skip this screening will not be looked at later. Simple as that.

Cut-Off Marks Course By Course

This part is where candidates lean closer to the page. Each programme has its own bar, and you either meet it or you wait another year.
