The University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (BSUAST), Ihugh, Benue State, has announced that it is now officially profiled on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) for the 2025/2026 admissions cycle. Invitation for Applications
Suitably qualified candidates who participated in the 2025/2026 JAMB UTME and attained the required cut-off marks are invited to apply for admission into the university’s degree programmes.
Interested applicants are advised to visit any JAMB Office or accredited CBT centre to complete a Change of Institution to UAST, Ihugh as their First Choice institution.
Programme Cut-Off Marks
- Nursing Science: 160 and above
- Medical Laboratory Science (MLS): 160 and above
- Human Nutrition and Dietetics: 160 and above
- Complementary and Alternative Medicine: 160 and above
- All Other Programmes: 150 and above (Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Management, Education, etc.)
Application and Post-UTME Procedure
Candidates applying to UAST should follow the steps below:
- Change institution to UAST, Ihugh on the JAMB CAPS Portal through any accredited CBT Centre or JAMB Office.
- Ensure your O-Level results are correctly uploaded to JAMB CAPS. Candidates without uploaded SSCE results will not be considered.
- Visit the UAST Admissions Portal via portal.bsuast.edu.ng to register for the Post-UTME Screening.
- Complete the online form and upload the required documents:
- Passport photograph
- O-Level results
- UTME result slip
- Pay the non-refundable ₦2,000 Post-UTME Screening Fee.
- Print and keep the Screening Acknowledgement Slip for the verification process.
Important Notes
- All admissions will be processed strictly through JAMB CAPS.
- Candidates must ensure their SSCE results are uploaded; otherwise, they will not receive admission consideration.
- Any candidate found to have submitted false or misleading information will be immediately deregistered and handed over to law enforcement agencies.
