4. Generate Payment Invoice and Pay Acceptance Fee
Candidates should visit the UNN portal using their JAMB Registration Number to generate a payment invoice containing a Remita number. The acceptance fee is ₦30,000 and can be paid at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.

5. Confirm Payment and Print Admission Slip
After payment, log back into the UNN portal with your JAMB Registration Number, Invoice Number, and Confirmation Number to print your Admission Slip and complete the online Acceptance Form.

6. Proceed with Registration
After acceptance, candidates should follow the instructions provided on the university website to pay other required fees and complete registration.

SAZU Releases Mop-Up Admission List for 2025/2026

Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU), Bauchi, formerly known as Bauchi State University, Gadau (BASUG), has announced the release of its mop-up undergraduate admission screening list for the 2025/2026 academic session. This update provides another opportunity for qualified candidates who were not included in earlier batches to confirm their admission status.

All shortlisted candidates are encouraged to check their names and prepare for the upcoming physical screening exercise, which covers all admission batches.

SAZU Physical Screening Schedule and Venue

The physical screening for candidates admitted into various undergraduate programmes at SAZU will commence on Thursday, 6 November 2025, and end on Friday, 14 November 2025. The exercise will take place at the respective campuses where the programmes are based.

Candidates can access the full admission list through the Sa’adu Zungur University official portal. EducationNGR also learnt that the institution has made arrangements to ensure a smooth and well-organised verification process across its campuses.

Requirements for Physical Screening

Shortlisted candidates must appear in person with both original and photocopies of the following documents:

  • Computer printout of SSCE result
  • JAMB result slip
  • Online screening form
  • One recent passport photograph
  • Scratch card for verification of O’Level result

Additional Guidelines

  • Candidates must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal at any accredited centre before attending the screening.
  • Within two to three days after completing the screening, candidates should log into the JAMB portal to accept their admission and print their JAMB admission letter.
  • Only candidates who have accepted their admission on JAMB will be able to access the SAZU admission portal at basug.admissions.cloud.

FULAFIA Senate Approves Online Registration & Virtual Classes 2025/2026

The Senate of the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) has approved the commencement of registration for both returning and new students for the 2025/2026 academic session. This decision was confirmed during the Senate’s 97th regular meeting held on Thursday, 30 October 2025.

According to the revised academic calendar, registration will follow the updated schedule approved by Management. Students are expected to complete their registration online from their homes before the official resumption date. During the first six weeks of the semester, lectures will also be delivered virtually to ensure that students can begin classes promptly while remaining in their respective locations.

Online and Physical Sessions at FULAFIA

FULAFIA’s academic plan combines online and physical learning for the upcoming session. Virtual classes will run for the first six weeks, allowing both new and returning students to engage with their coursework through the University’s e-learning platform.

Physical lectures are scheduled to begin in the first week of January 2026. This phase will allow students to return to campus and participate in classroom-based learning and practical sessions.

The University has also confirmed that the hostel accommodation portal will open in the first week of January 2026. Interested students can apply online through the official FULAFIA portal once it is activated. EducationNGR also learnt that the institution has improved its digital infrastructure to support uninterrupted virtual lectures during the online phase.

ASCOEA Extends Admission Deadline in Line with JAMB’s New Schedule

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the deadline for the acceptance of admission into Degree programmes to 17 November 2025. In line with this extension, the Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA) has also moved the closing date for screening and change of course or institution for both Degree and NCE applicants to the same day.

Applicants are encouraged to make use of this extra time to finalise all required steps, including completing their screening and submitting any necessary changes online. This update aims to ensure that every qualified candidate has the opportunity to secure admission without missing the revised deadline.

Extended Schedule for NCE Admission at ASCOEA

The management of Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare (ASCOEA) confirmed that admission into the NCE programme will continue as earlier planned until December 2025. This gives NCE candidates additional time to complete their registration and acceptance procedures.

All applicants are advised to log in to the College’s admission portal to finalise their screening, process any change of course or institution, and confirm acceptance of admission promptly. Timely completion of these steps will help prevent any disruption in their academic registration.
