Payment and Registration Process

Application starts on 21st August 2024 and ends on 29th November 2024.

Eligible candidates are required to pay the following fees:

  • Two thousand naira (N2,000.00) for post-UTME candidates.
  • Twenty thousand naira (N20,000.00) for candidates seeking admission into the Post Basic Dental Nursing programme.

Payment must be made through the college portal. Follow these steps:

  3. Generate an invoice by entering your JAMB registration number.

Prizes for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize

Eligibility for the Commonwealth Short Story Prize

To enter the Commonwealth Short Story Prize, ensure the following:

  • Citizenship: Must be a citizen of a Commonwealth country or a stateless person living in a Commonwealth country.
  • Dual Citizenship: If holding dual citizenship of two Commonwealth countries, the entry will be judged in the region where permanent residence is.
  • Age: Must be 18 years or older by 1st November 2024.
  • Unpublished Work: Stories must be unpublished in any language and remain so until 1st May 2025.
  • Previous Winners: Past overall winners cannot enter again, nor can those who have won the regional prize three times.
  • Staff Members: Employees of the Commonwealth Foundation are not eligible.
  • Other Competitions: Entries shortlisted or winning in other competitions are allowed if unpublished.

How to Apply for LASU Hostel Accommodation 2024. The Lagos State University hereby announces the commencement of online applications for students’ hostel allocations for the upcoming 2024/2025 academic session via the university website www.lasu.edu.ng/hostel.

The online application portal, which is designed to ensure a fair and efficient allocation process, will open on Thursday, 5th September 2024, to allow new and returning students to apply and be allocated hostels on a first come first serve basis.

New students will, however, be able to apply only after they have been offered admission to enable them access from the quota reserved for them by the university.

This is to inform the general public that screening forms for admissions into Higher National Diploma (HND)of the Ahmadu Bello University ABU, National Diploma (ND II Special), National Diploma (ND), offered by the three Colleges under Division of Agricultural Colleges (DAC), Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, are now on sale for admission into any of the Colleges

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS for ABU Division of Agricultural Colleges (DAC) Admission

  1. HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA:

All candidates wishing to apply for admission in the Higher National Diploma programmes should have National Diploma with at least Lower Credit in any relevant accredited Agricultural programmes, plus evidence of completion of one- year mandatory industrial training after the National Diploma (ND) programme. Candidates must also have credit passes in the relevant five subjects including: Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry/Physics and Agricultural Science/Biology at WAEC (GCE), NECO, NABTEB and NBAIS. The five credit passes are pre-requisites

2. NATIONAL DIPLOMA:

Entry requirements into the National Diploma Programmes must be through JAMB, candidates that choosed other institutions as first choice must fill green card to change his/her choice to any of the desired colleges under DAC and must upload his/her O’level result in the JAMB portal. Candidates must have Credit Passes in English Language and Mathematics as stipulated by the National Policy on Education. Other relevant O’Level credits passes should be obtained at not more than two sittings

  • Candidates for National Diploma (ND) can obtain form online after payment of two thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only in any of the approved commercial banks:

  • Application forms for HND, ND II Special are obtainable after payment of two thousand five hundred Naira(N2,500.00) only.

iii. Click on the College URL “caas.dac.abu.edu.ng and click on portal, select application form’

iv. Click on the College URL “kca.dac.abu.edu.ng/ and click on portal, select application form

v. Click on the College URL “sca.dac.abu.edu.ng and click on portal, select application form.

vi. Select “click here to apply”

vii. Enter the relevant information and click “Create Account”

viii. Click at “Generate RRR” to obtain your RRR Transaction ID

ix. Then, you have the option to either click on “Pay via Remita” using your ATM card or print “Transaction Slip” and make your payment at any commercial bank that is online.
