The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the appointment of Dr Ufo Ejike Akunna as the Acting Head of Department of Radiography for a period of one year with effect from

September 5, 2024.

According to a statement issued by the Registrar of FULafia, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, the vice-chancellor has, also, appointed the following persons:

A. REGISTRATION: Commences from 11th September-4th October, 2024 between 8:00am daily.

B. VENUE: Registration will ONLY take place at the College Main Campus – Ikot Ekpene.

C. QUALIFICATION: WASSCE, GCE, NECO OR NABTEB with credits in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics in not more than two sittings. NOTE: NABTEB cannot be combined with any other Certificate.

Flooding: Al-Ansar University Closes School Indefinately

This is to inform the staff and students of the Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri that following the unfortunate flooding that began yesterday night in some parts of Maiduguri Metropolis, in which houses and roads were submerged, the University Management hereby directs that all academic activities, including the conduct of the second semester examinations, be suspended immediately

until further notice.

Staff and students are hereby implored to stay safe and watchful, as access to the University from some parts of Maiduguri Metropolis has been blocked.

Appropriate notice on when to resume will be communicated to the university community in due course. Thank you!

 

 

Al-Ansar University suspends academic activities till further notice
Augustine University Notice to Newly Admitted Students 2024/2025

This is to inform all newly admitted students of the Augustine University, AU that upon receiving their provisional admission letter from the University, they are required to complete the following steps:

  1.  Check your JAMB Portal: Accept and print your JAMB Admission Letter. This is mandatory, and students will not be allowed to resume without presenting the JAMB Admission Letter.
  2.  Acceptance Fee Payment: Candidates must make payment for their acceptance fee within five (5) days of receiving the provisional admission letter. Payments are to be made via the Admission Portal.
  3. Student Portal Access: After making the acceptance payment, proceed to the Student Portal at portal.augustineuniversity.edu.ng.
  4.  Login with your Application ID (e.g UTME2024..) and the same password used for the Admission Portal.
  5.  Download a copy of the Student Information Handbook and read through the University’s rules and regulations.
  6. Print the last page of the last chapter, fill it out, and bring the completed form on resumption day.

Ensure you complete all these steps promptly to avoid any delays.
