Registration Details

The online application for the Post-UTME screening started on 9th June 2025 and will close on 15th August 2025. The screening exercise is scheduled to take place from 25th to 27th August 2025. Candidates are advised to regularly check the PTI website for updates on the screening process.

Application Fee

The cost of the Post-UTME application form is N2,000 (non-refundable). Payment must be made through the Remita platform.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to apply for the PTI Post-UTME screening:

  1. Visit the PTI website at http://www.pti.edu.ng.
  2. Navigate to the Programmes Menu and select National Diploma & Higher National Diploma Programmes.
  3. Click on Apply Here under the National Diploma Programmes section.
  4. Fill in the Post-UTME Applicant Sign On page with the required details and click Sign Up at the bottom. Note: Write down your username and password for future use, then click Submit.
  5. You will be directed to the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) page to generate an RRR code.
  6. Print the RRR code page and take it to any bank for payment. Alternatively, you can pay online using a debit card.
  7. After payment, return to the PTI website and click on Students’ Menu, then select Applicant Login.
  8. Enter your username and password, then click Login.
  9. Complete the online Post-UTME screening form.
  10. Print the completed form, which must be presented at the examination/interview centre along with your RRR code printout, JAMB result, and O’level result.

Important Notes

  • Candidates must provide a correct JAMB registration number, a valid mobile phone number, and an email address for communication with the institute.
  • Any inconsistencies in names, pictures on photo cards, O’level certificates, UTME results, or other registration documents may lead to disqualification.

  • Have a LASU Diploma or other recognized qualifications (only LASU Diploma is accepted for DE admission, except NCE for Faculty of Education programmes).
  • Meet the O’level requirements listed above.

For LASU Pre-Degree and JUPEB Candidates

  • Pre-Degree Studies (PDS) students who completed their programme and scored at least 195 in the 2025 UTME, with LASU as their first choice, are eligible.
  • LASU Foundation (JUPEB) candidates who chose LASU as their first choice and obtained a JAMB Direct Entry form can also apply.

For Lagos State Indigenes

Candidates of Lagos State origin who have been verified by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) will have their claims automatically validated during the screening.

  • Medicine and Dentistry require one sitting, and competitive courses like Medicine (240), Nursing (220), and Law (195) may have higher departmental cut-off marks.

How to Pay UNIZIK School Fees

Paying your school fees at UNIZIK is simple and can be done through the university’s online portal. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit the official UNIZIK portal at https://unizik.edu.ng.

  2. Log in using your student ID and password. New students should use their JAMB registration number as the access code.

  3. Go to the “School Fees” section and select the 2024/2025 academic session.

  4. Choose your entry level (100 level for new students, 200 level for Direct Entry students) and your current level.

  5. Click “Generate” to create an invoice with a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).

  6. Use the RRR to pay at any commercial bank, such as First Bank, Access Bank, GTBank, Zenith Bank, or UBA, or make the payment online via the Remita platform.

  7. After payment, return to the UNIZIK portal, log in, and enter your RRR to print your school fees receipt. Keep this receipt safe, as it will be needed for registration and other processes.

School Fees Breakdown

The school fees for UNIZIK vary depending on the student’s status and course of study. For new students, fees range from N95,000 to N164,500, including acceptance fees and other charges. Returning students pay between N25,300 and N95,000, depending on their faculty and level. New students must also pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of N62,500 to secure their admission. Hostel accommodation fees range from N30,000 to N91,000 per session, depending on the hostel type.
