Federal University Gashua (FUGASHUA)
FUGASHUA 1st Batch Postgraduate Admission List 2025/2026

FUGASHUA has released the first batch of its 2024/2025 postgraduate admission list. If you applied for a PG programme there, it’s time to check your name. Keep reading to find out how.

So, after months of waiting, refreshing websites, maybe even saying small prayers, the Federal University Gashua (FUGASHUA) has dropped its first list of admitted postgraduate students for the 2024/2025 session.

And if you applied? Omo, now’s the time to check.

How to find your name

No long story. The list is already up and it’s pretty easy to access. All you need is your phone or laptop, steady network, and a bit of patience while the PDF loads.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Go to the FUGASHUA Postgraduate Admission List PDF.
  2. Download the file.
  3. Open it, then scroll or use the search function to look for your name.

That’s all. No portal stress, no login drama.

If your name made the list

Big win. It means you’re starting a new phase, moving higher up the ladder. Whether it’s MSc, PGD or something else, this is your green light. And let’s be real, not everyone gets this far.

So, take your moment, celebrate small. But don’t get carried away — next step is registration, and FUGASHUA doesn’t joke with dates.

And if you didn’t see your name?

Relax. This is only the first batch. More lists will follow. Sometimes names show up later, especially if you applied a bit late or your transcript reached them after others.

Just keep checking and don’t give up yet.

Abia State University (ABSU)
ABSU Post UTME/DE Admission Form for 2025/2026

ABSU has kicked off its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening for 2025/2026. If you scored 150 and above or plan to switch to ABSU, this is your sign to act. Read on for how to apply and avoid missing out.

The buzz is real this time. Abia State University (ABSU) has quietly begun its online screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. No big announcement, no drama — just a simple call to action for students who want in.

Whether ABSU was your first, second, or even “I-never-put-am-before” choice, the school is giving room to apply. As long as your UTME score reads 150 or above, and you’ve got your O’Level sorted, you’ve got a shot.

Let’s be honest, some people wait too long and then start asking “they don close am?” Don’t be that guy.

Who can apply?

ABSU didn’t draw any confusing line here. The screening is open to:

  • Candidates who chose ABSU as first or second choice
  • Those who didn’t choose ABSU but now want to switch (you go need change of institution though)
  • UTME candidates who scored 150 and above
  • Direct Entry applicants
  • Everyone with five O’Level credits, including English and Maths, in the right subjects

So yes, even if your earlier plans changed, and you now dey eye ABSU, the door no lock yet.

Where and how to apply

No need for long waka. You’ll do everything online, from payment to uploading documents.

Step 1: Log in to ABSU Portal

That’s where the whole thing starts. Make sure you’ve got your details handy — UTME number, email, and your results.

Step 2: Pay the screening fee

It’s ₦2,000, and you can pay through any of these:

  • ABSU Micro-Finance Bank, Uturu
  • Signature Bank
  • First Bank
  • Eco Bank
  • Zenith Bank
  • Fidelity Bank
  • Union Bank
  • UBA

Or use your bank card if you don’t feel like leaving your room.

Step 3: Upload your results

This includes your UTME score, O’Level (WAEC, NECO, etc), and A’Level/Degree if you’re going through Direct Entry. Don’t forget to upload on the JAMB portal too. Both sides must match.

Step 4: Wait. But don’t go offline.

They didn’t mention the exact screening date, but keep checking the site and your email. You can also email the school directly at registrar@abiastateuniversity.edu.ng if you’re confused.

Quick warning

If you don’t register, don’t expect admission. The school dey talk am clear. Even if you scored 300 in JAMB, no screening, no seat.

So, why ABSU?

Look, people go argue. Some will say “why Abia State?” but let’s face it — ABSU holds its own. Solid lecturers, decent learning environment, and a growing student body. If you’re ready to focus and not just do “I just want to enter school,” this might be a smart move.

Federal University of Tech. Babura FUTB
FUTB Post-UTME/DE Admission Form for 2025/2026

FUTB has opened its Post UTME and Direct Entry screening for 2025/2026. If you scored at least 150 in JAMB or meet the DE/IJMB requirements, it’s time to apply. Read on to know how and when.

If you’ve been waiting on Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB) to drop their Post UTME form, you can stop refreshing your screen now. The form is finally out for the 2025/2026 session, and the school wants serious candidates to get moving.

This one no be rumour. From engineering to physics, FUTB has opened its doors, but like always, not everyone will get in. So better read this with both eyes.

Who’s eligible?

Let’s not overcomplicate this. The requirements are pretty clear:

  • UTME folks: You need a minimum of 150 to qualify.
  • Direct Entry applicants: Bring at least Lower Credit in your National or Innovative Diploma.
  • IJMB route? You need 4 points minimum in two subjects.
  • And everybody must have five relevant O’Level credits, including Maths and English, in not more than two sittings.

No shortcut here. If your papers no complete, better hold off till next year.

Cut-off marks by course

FUTB didn’t just say “apply”. They broke it down by course so you know where you stand. See them below:

ZAMSUT
Zamfara State University Admission Cut-Off Marks for 2025/2026

ZAMSUT has released the cut-off marks for 2025/2026 admission. These scores guide who can apply for each course based on where you’re from. Read on to check your course and know where you stand.

The Zamfara State University, Talata-Mafara (ZAMSUT) has quietly dropped its admission cut-off marks for the upcoming academic session. And let’s be honest, whether you scored 150 or 200 in JAMB, this list will either make you sit up or sit out.

Now, before you panic or start doing calculations, here’s the gist. ZAMSUT didn’t go with just one cut-off per course. They split the marks into three categories:

  • Catchment: For students from states closest to the school
  • ELDS (Educationally Less Developed States): For states the government wants to boost in education
  • Merit: For everybody else, basically those from states with plenty JAMB competition

Each course has its own score requirement for all three. So don’t just stop at your score — check where you’re from too.

Quick look: What category is your state?

Here’s how ZAMSUT grouped the states:

  • Catchment states: Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Kano, Jigawa, Kaduna, Niger
  • ELDS states: FCT, Bauchi, Gombe, Taraba, Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Akwa Ibom, Plateau, Nasarawa
  • Merit states: Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, Lagos, Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Edo, Delta, Rivers, Cross River

So, if you’re from Zamfara, for example, you’re in the catchment. But if you’re from Oyo or Imo, you fall under merit. Make that count when you’re looking at the cut-offs.

The course-by-course breakdown

Here’s how the numbers stack up. Left column is catchment, middle is ELDS, right is merit.

Statistics 150 160 170

So what next?

You’ve seen the scores. Maybe you made the cut, maybe you didn’t. Either way, don’t assume anything yet. If your score matches the mark for your category, you’re in the running. If it doesn’t, you might want to try a change of course or school while there’s still time.

Oh, and if you’re from one of the catchment states and your score is low, count yourself lucky — you still stand a fair chance.
