Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, sitting quietly in Ebonyi State, is calling for fresh faces. And not just lecturers, mind you, but folks in health care, admin, and even security.

Ebonyi State University (EBSU)
EBSU Merit Admission List for 2025/2026 is Out -See Names

The Ebonyi State University admission list for 2025/2026 is out. Candidates can now check their status on the JAMB CAPS portal and later on the school portal. Read this notice carefully for steps to confirm your placement and next steps.

The long wait is over. Ebonyi State University has finally dropped the admission list for the 2025/2026 session. The list carries the names of those who have been given provisional spots in different first-degree programmes.

It’s a big deal, no doubt. And like every year, the buzz is there. Parents whisper, students refresh pages, and some even pray in between clicks. Admission is not beans, as people say, so this moment is special.

Where and how to check

Right now, there’s just one main way to confirm if your name made the cut. The JAMB CAPS portal is the gate. Simple but a bit tricky if you lose focus halfway.

  • Visit the JAMB EFacility portal.
  • Log in using your JAMB username and password.
  • Scroll until you see the Check Admission Status option.
  • Tap on Access my CAPS.
  • Hit Admission Status to see if Ebonyi State University has picked you.

No rocket science there, but one wrong click and you’ll be chasing shadows.

What happens after

Those who see “Admitted” need to act fast. You’ll have to accept or reject by texting ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number tied to your JAMB profile.

If you bump into “Admission Still in Progress” or the blunt “Not Admitted”, don’t panic. Keep checking. Status updates can switch up any time. Some people get theirs after several tries, almost like waiting for fuel in a filling station queue.

Once you accept, the next move is printing your JAMB admission letter. That paper is more than just paper, it’s proof.

Later on, through the school portal

When the list finally drops on EBSU’s own platform, here’s the drill:

  • Visit the EBSU Admission Status Portal.
  • Pick the 2025/2026 session from the drop-down.
  • Punch in your JAMB registration number.
  • Click Proceed to see where you stand.
University of Abuja (UNIABUJA)
See UNIABUJA Departmental Cut Off Mark 2025/2026

The University of Abuja has announced the cut-off marks for 2025/2026 admissions. Candidates need at least 180 in UTME to qualify, though some courses demand higher scores. Please read below for full details on each faculty and programme.

The University of Abuja has spoken. The long-awaited cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 academic year are out, and every hopeful candidate will want to know where they stand. Some will breathe easy, others will bite their lips, but everyone has to face it.

Before we roll into the figures, a quick rewind. The University of Abuja, set in the heart of Nigeria’s capital, opened its doors in 1990. It actually started small, with just three buildings in Gwagwalada, known back then as the “mini-campus.” From those modest roots, the school has grown into one of the country’s better known public universities.

The rule of the game

To even sit for the Post-UTME screening, one thing is clear. You must have:

  • A minimum of 180 in your UTME.
  • Selected UNIABUJA as your first choice when registering.

Once that bar is cleared, the real filter is the cut-off score tied to each course. And trust me, some of them are higher than others. Medicine and Nursing, for instance, are on another level entirely.

University of Ilorin UNILORIN
UNILORIN Post UTME/Direct Entry Admission Form 2025/2026 Out

UNILORIN has opened its 2025 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for undergraduates. Application runs from 28 July to 24 August. Read on for who qualifies, how to apply, and what not to mess up.

So, UNILORIN has kicked off its screening process for the 2025/2026 academic session. If you’re aiming for a seat in one of Nigeria’s most competitive federal universities, now’s your window. And yes, there’s a deadline — 24 August 2025. Miss it and you’re out.

Let’s break it down the way you’d want your older cousin to explain it — no grammar, no lectures, just the meat.

First, a Warning

If you fill anything wrong, that’s on you. No excuses. No second chances. Wrong entries = disqualification. UNILORIN won’t clean up your mistakes.

How They’ll Score You

Admission is based on:

  • 50% UTME or Direct Entry score
  • 30% Post-UTME screening
  • 20% from five O’Level subjects (the relevant ones, not random picks)

It’s a tight blend, so each part counts.

Registration Timeline

  • Opens: Monday, 28 July 2025
  • Closes: Midnight, Sunday, 17 August 2025

Don’t play the deadline game. Too many people get locked out last minute.

What You Must Do Before Starting

How to Apply

  1. Go to the UNILORIN undergraduate portal
  2. Click Pre-admission Screening Registration
  3. Enter your JAMB reg number and surname
  4. Hit Get Details
  5. Fill in your results (O’Level or A’Level), or select ‘AR’ if you’re awaiting results
  6. Pay the ₦2,000 registration fee via Remita (use your ATM card)

Important:
Don’t refresh your browser during payment. If you’re unsure it went through, wait a bit. Check for debit alerts or just try again later.

  1. After paying, go back to the portal
  2. Click Admission Login
  3. Enter your JAMB reg number and surname
  4. Complete your details, check everything twice
  5. Click Submit

Print your slip. Make sure the info displays correctly. If anything looks off, fix it or report it. Mistakes left unattended can mess up your chances.

Special Note on Some Courses

If you’re going for any of these:

  • MBBS
  • Pharmacy
  • Optometry & Vision Science
  • Computer Engineering

You must upload results from one sitting only. No combining results. Don’t say nobody warned you.

What About Direct Entry Candidates?

Same steps apply. Only extra bit: choose your highest qualification from the list during registration. Don’t skip it.

If you just switched from UTME to DE, make sure JAMB CAPS reflects that before you start your registration here.

Final Words? Don’t Lie

If your results don’t match what’s on JAMB CAPS or if you make stuff up, that’s automatic disqualification. Doesn’t matter if you’re already on the merit list. They’ll yank your admission.
