Yes, they’ve rolled out forms for master’s, PhDs and PGDs across several departments.

Who Can Apply?

There’s a different requirement depending on what you’re applying for. Let’s keep it brief.

PhD

You’ll need a master’s degree with a CGPA of at least 4.00 (out of 5.00). If you’re going for Architecture, 3.50 will do.

Academic Masters

You need a second class lower from a recognised university or a related PGD with a 3.00 CGPA.

Professional Masters

Same as above, but your PGD result can be lower credit.

PGD Programmes

You’ll need at least a 3rd class degree or HND with lower credit.

And of course, everyone must have five O’Level credits, including Maths and English. Nothing fancy. Just the basics.

Application Steps

It’s online. So yeah, you’ll need internet and a little patience. Here’s what to do:

  1. Head to the Bingham PG portal.
  2. Create an account with your email and a password you won’t forget.
  3. Click on My Payment and pay the fee.
    • PhD: ₦30,000
    • Masters: ₦25,000
    • PGD: ₦20,000
  4. Fill the form carefully, upload your documents, and submit.

You’ll also need:

  • Three reference letters (from someone who taught or worked with you)
  • Your NYSC certificate (or exemption)
  • Transcripts, sent to:
    The Secretary, School of Postgraduate Studies, Km 26, Bingham University, Karu, Nasarawa State

And yes, print out your filled form and drop it off physically at the school too. Old school meets new school.
