Amadeus University, Amizi, located in Ikwuano Local Government Area of Umuahia, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja, to commence new degree programmes beginning from the 2025/2026 academic session.
The approval covers three key programmes:
- MBBS Medicine and Surgery
- LL.B Law
- Pharm.D Doctor of Pharmacy
The NUC’s approval followed a thorough evaluation of the university’s academic staffing, teaching resources, and infrastructure.
Commencement of Admissions
Admissions have officially begun for two of the newly approved programmes — MBBS Medicine and Surgery and D.Pharm Pharmacy.
Entry Requirements
- Minimum JAMB score of 200 and above for Medicine and Surgery.
- Minimum JAMB score of 180 and above for D.Pharm Pharmacy.
- Relevant credit passes in SSCE or NECO in the required subjects.
Prospective students must apply through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) and update their choice of institution and course to Amadeus University.
Admissions are also ongoing for 19 other accredited courses listed on the university’s official website at amadeus.edu.ng.
