The College of Nursing Sciences at ABUTH, Zaria, has issued a fresh reminder to all applicants for the 2025/2026 academic session to upload their Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal. EducationNGR also learnt that this upload is a compulsory step that helps the college verify each candidate’s details before final admission decisions are made.
According to Haruna Ibrahim, the institution’s Information and Public Relations Officer, many candidates have still not completed the upload, which may affect how quickly their admission can be confirmed.
Why ABUTH Requires SSCE Results on the JAMB Portal
The College of Nursing Sciences depends on the SSCE records available on each candidate’s JAMB profile for key verification checks. These records help the college:
-
Confirm that applicants have the correct subjects and grades.
-
Ensure that the SSCE details match what was used during JAMB registration.
-
Identify candidates who are fully ready for the next stage of the admission process.
Haruna Ibrahim explained that some candidates’ records remain incomplete on the JAMB system. Without the uploaded SSCE result, ABUTH may not be able to proceed with confirmation, which could delay or stop the admission process.
What Applicants Should Do Now
To avoid delays, applicants are strongly advised to:
-
Visit any JAMB–accredited CBT centre.
-
Upload their SSCE result accurately and ensure all details match their JAMB profile.
Candidates who already uploaded their results earlier are encouraged to log in again to confirm that the record is still showing correctly on their portal.
What Happens If a Student Fails to Upload the SSCE Result
Failure to upload the SSCE result on the JAMB portal may prevent ABUTH from:
-
Confirming that the applicant meets all entry requirements.
-
Processing the admission file on time.
This could slow down the entire process or completely disqualify the candidate from consideration. Since the upload is a mandatory part of the procedure, candidates are expected to complete it without delay to protect their admission chances.
